(KGTV) - A man accused of leading police on a lengthy, high-speed pursuit in Oklahoma City Friday recorded the incident on Facebook Live.Sirens could be heard blaring in the background as the man drives the reportedly stolen truck. The man identified himself as the suspect in the chase, yelling, "I'm in a high-speed chase, bro!" out the window at another person.Watch the video below:At least three crashes were caused as a result of the hours-long chase, according to KOCO in Oklahoma.The chase began on Interstate 240 in southwest Oklahoma City and continued into Moore, OK. (KGTV) - A destructive fire which caused .5 million in damage to the Off Road Warehouse in Kearny Mesa was arson, federal investigators announced Friday. Flames destroyed the business and 12,700-square-foot building at 7915 Balboa Ave. on March 28. San Diego Fire-Rescue investigators requested help from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to determine the origin of the fire. The fire is now an ongoing criminal investigation, the ATF said. (KGTV) -- A North San Diego County couple said they were promised plane tickets for an extremely low price, but when they paid up, they were left with nothing. Robert, who declined to use his last name, loves to travel with his fiancé. In October, he said they got an invitation in the mail to listen to a timeshare presentation.“If you [go], you’re offered one of several gifts—a cruise, a TV, an iPad, and so forth,” Robert said.They decided to check it out, although they knew they just wanted the gift. He said after the presentation, the couple declined the timeshare, but they were entered into a raffle in which they received the cruise with two airline tickets.Robert was only interested in the plane tickets, so they filled out the required paperwork and paid the fee attached to the prize. “It’ll charge you for the both of you, for both of your tickets,” he said.PDF: Read correspondence between Team 10 and My Ultimate Getaway Robert mailed the money with the forms and waited. Instead of receiving tickets, Robert said he instead got more paperwork to enter another program. “You have to sign up [on] a website and then you have to pay to get discounted tickets,” Robert said. “We’re like, what’s going on? These are not free tickets.”The return address on the envelope he received came from “My Ultimate Getaway.” According to the pamphlet, it said: “In order to keep your promotional vacation reserved for a full year, you must register and submit your vacation request for online.” It also asked for a “booking fee of .95.”Robert told Team 10 there was no mention of signing up for a program to get these plane tickets and said “100 percent” they were told it was free.The couple felt misled. They complained to the Better Business Bureau out of Virginia where My Ultimate Getaway has a listed address. Team 10 spoke to another woman from Kansas who said she also gave money with the promise of plane tickets.“We wrote the check for to this Getaway place September the 14th,” said Kathy, who did not want to use her last name. Instead of plane tickets, she “finally got something in the mail. They wanted more money.” BBB records show the man behind My Ultimate Getaway and another similar business called Hot Promotional Vacations out of Maryland is Charles Colvin, also known as Charles Colvin Lemley. A search of state records found Charles Lemley listed as president of My Ultimate Getaway and owner of Hot Promotional Vacations. Robert said he emailed Colvin and showed Team 10 an email where he responded “he would be refunded as soon as possible.” That was mid-January. “We’ve been patient,” Robert said. When Team 10 questioned Colvin regarding My Ultimate Getaway, he responded via email: “We provide gift incentives to companies to market their products or services, nothing more.” He blamed the companies for giving “a false impression that these gifts are free.”When pressed on who the companies are and why he is doing business with them if they are giving a “false impression” to customers, he did not answer that question.Colvin told Team 10 in an email on February 20th that he processed the refund and the couple would “receive it in a couple of days.” After Team 10 got involved, Robert said they received their refund Feb. 26. Robert regrets opening that first piece of mail and hopes to stop others from making his mistake. “If you promise something, please give the customer what they want,” he said. “They get nothing in return except headaches.”The Better Business Bureau suggests when dealing with vacation or travel: Be wary of “great deals” and low- priced offers. Be suspicious of companies that require you to wait at least 60 days before taking your trip. Ask detailed questions. Get all information in writing before you agree to buy. Don’t give your credit card number or bank information over the phone unless you have confidence in the company you are dealing with. Don’t send money by messenger or overnight mail. Check out a company with the Better Business Bureau before you buy. Don’t be pressured into buying. If in doubt, say “NO.” 4107

(KGTV) — Firefighters battled a vegetation fire north of Fallbrook Saturday afternoon.Cal Fire firefighters reported the brush fire near the intersection of Deluz Rd. and Santa Margarita Trail in the Deluz area, north of Fallbrook.Dubbed the Santa Fire, the blaze was at 6 acres and 0% contained just before 2 p.m. Fire crews said there was no immediate structure threat in the area. Just before 2:30 p.m., Cal Fire reported that forward rate had been stopped and crews would remain on scene "to mop-up and build containment line."It's not clear how the fire began. 573

(KGTV) -- A suspect in the freeway shooting death of a San Diego man was arrested following a standoff at a San Diego hotel, California Highway Patrol officials announced Monday.Vincent Dulay Deguzman Jr. faces charges in connection with the June 7 death of 47-year-old San Diego resident Jessie Garcia Sr., CHP officials said.According to the CHP, on June 7, Deguzman and Garcia were in a Kia Altima on southbound Interstate 5 in Irvine when Deguzman, who was behind the wheel, allegedly shot Garcia and then abandoned the rental car south of Culver Drive, where it was found on the shoulder with the body next to the vehicle at around 7:33 a.m.On June 11, CHP investigators identified Deguzman as the suspect in the case and obtained a warrant for his arrest.Investigators collaborated with the San Diego Fugitive Task Force and tracked Deguzman to a Hilton Garden Inn in San Diego.CHP officials said, “Deguzman barricaded himself inside a hotel room and a stand-of ensued.”Deguzman eventually surrendered without incident and was taken into custody.Deguzman was booked into Orange County Jail on suspicion of murder and being held without bail.CHP officials did not release any information on a possible motive in the case. 1234
