A father and son are accused of slaughtering a female black bear and her two cubs as they rested in their den in April.Andrew Renner, 41, and Owen Renner, 18, of Palmer, Alaska face several felony and misdemeanor charges related to illegal hunting. Andrew Renner then killed the "shrieking" newborn cubs and discarded their bodies outside the den, the statement said.Court documents obtained by CNN affiliate KTVA say that Andrew Renner is captured on video saying: "It doesn't matter. Bear down."The men also removed the adult bear's tracking collar."They'll never be able to link it to us," Owen Renner said, according to the court documents.Two days later, the men were captured on video returning to the den to pick up shells casings and dispose of the bear cubs, troopers said.Two weeks later, on April 30, Andrew Renner brought the adult bear's skin and tracking collar to officials at the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, saying that he realized after shooting it that it was a nursing bear and had not seen any cubs.The men have been charged with unlawfully taking a female bear with cubs, unlawfully taking a bear cub and possessing and transporting illegally taken game. A high-profile church pastor was charged with sexually assaulting two young sisters while he was in Murfreesboro, Tennessee for a religious conference.Florida pastor David Rowan was arrested there Tuesday. He's was indicted on rape, unlawful sexual contact and sexual battery by an authority figure.The arrest stemmed from an alleged incident here in Middle Tennessee back in 2014. Rowan was a guest speaker at a religious convention in Murfreesboro.Sex crimes detectives said he convinced the parents of two girls to let him take them to lunch. The family was seeking spiritual guidance from Rowan and trusted him.Police said he brought the 14 and 15-year-old sisters to a local hotel where he took advantage of the situation and molested them.Rowan is a well-known pastor in Milton, Florida, not far from Pensacola. He was held in the Santa Rosa County Jail before being brought back to Tennessee in the next two weeks to face charges.Scripps station WTVF in Nashville reached out to Faith Baptist Church in Florida. The staff there declined to comment.  1119

A farm in Indiana is recalling more than 200 million eggs sold in nine states over salmonella fears.Rose Acre Farms voluntarily recalled 206,749,248 eggs due to potential contamination with Salmonella Braenderup, the Food and Drug Administration said in a statement.At least 22 illnesses have been reported so far, the FDA said Friday.The eggs were sold through retail stores and restaurants. They reached consumers in Colorado, Florida, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia."Consumers with these eggs shouldn't eat them," FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb tweeted. "Throw them away or return them to place of purchase for credit or refund."Brands affected include Country Daybreak, Coburn Farms, Crystal Farms, Sunshine Farms and Glenview, with some eggs sold at Walmart and Food Lion stores.Salmonella causes serious and sometimes fatal infections, especially in young children, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems. It is generally contracted from contaminated poultry, meat, eggs and water, and affects the intestinal tract.Chickens can pass the bacteria to eggs because the eggs leave hens through the same passageway as feces. Alternatively, bacteria in the hen's ovary or oviduct can get to the egg before the shell forms around it, according to the US Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service.
