(KGTV and CNN) - Newly released video from a passenger shows the moments before and after strong winds led to the crash of an Aeromexico plane in northern Mexico.Flight 2431 had just left Durango, Mexico for Mexico City on Tuesday when it took a nose dive.Video shows the plane fall before flames erupt outside the window. (CNN) -- Jamba Juice is squeezing out part of its name. It's now simply now known as "Jamba."The health food chain announced the name change Thursday. Jamba said the new name better reflects its menu, which has more than juices. It's expanding its offerings with smoothies, bowls and sandwiches as consumers gravitate toward healthier foods.The company said its loyal fans have been calling it "Jamba" for years. But the official name change is part of a larger modernization initiative for the 30-year-old company, which also includes a new mobile app, remodeled stores and new delivery options through Uber Eats and Postmates.Jamba is also trying to stay on trend with plant-based alternatives. (KGTV) — An inmate convicted of sexually assaulting a minor in San Diego was killed during an attack inside a California corrections facility this week.Officials said on Thursday, 41-year-old Jonathan Watson attacked two inmates with a weapon at California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility, and State Prison in Corcoran. Both inmates suffered head wounds and were taken to a local medical center.One inmate, 48-year-old David Bobb, died from his injuries while being taken to the hospital. Bobb was sentenced in San Diego on Oct. 17, 2015 to life in prison with the possibility of parole for aggravated sexual assault of a child under 14 years old.The other injured inmate is in critical condition at a local hospital.Officials say Watson has been serving a life sentence for first-degree murder and intentionally discharging a firearm causing great bodily injury or death.The prison specializes in substance abuse treatment and houses more than 5,400 inmates. 970

Michelle Lujan Grisham wants to provide state residents with free tuition to public colleges, a plan that, if passed by the state legislature, would add New Mexico to the growing list of Democratic-led states to offer free higher education.Lujan Grisham, a Democrat, announced the New Mexico Opportunity Scholarship on Wednesday while speaking at an education summit at Central New Mexico Community College. The plan would provide free undergraduate tuition at New Mexico colleges for in-state residents and aims to cover nearly 55,000 students a year. It would cover tuition and fees for recent high school graduates at four-year public colleges as well as recent high school graduates and returning adult learners at two-year community colleges."We're going to deliver a major boost. F-R-E-E, let's make it proof," Lujan Grisham said drawing a standing ovation and applause from the audience.
