At least 10 people were killed and another 23 remain missing after a hotel being used in China's coronavirus fight suddenly collapsed. Authorities said Sunday that 71 people had been trapped following the collapse of the building in the city of Quanzhou the previous evening.Firefighters working through the night and into the next day have rescued 38 people. The hotel was housing people who had come from areas hit hard by the epidemic. All of them had tested negative. Chinese cities are isolating people from hard-hit areas for 14 days. In fact, more deaths at the park occur from medical issues and heat-related woes than falls that occur while taking photos.However, a 67-year-old man died Wednesday after falling over the edge of the Grand Canyon. It is not clear what led him to fall. His death is the third at the popular tourist destination in eight days.The visitor fell Wednesday near the Yavapai Geology Museum, which is on the South Rim in Grand Canyon Village, according to the National Park Service.Grand Canyon National Park rangers responded and found the man's body about 400 feet below the rim. Helicopter and technical rescue teams recovered the body and park service officials are investigating.Last week, two people died while visiting the canyon.On Thursday, a man from Hong Kong was taking pictures at an overlook when he slipped and fell, according to the Grand Canyon West.The man, who was in his late 50s, was part of a tour group visiting the Eagle Point observation area at Grand Canyon West and was apparently taking a selfie, according to David Leibowitz, a spokesman for Eagle Point."The thoughts and prayers of every Grand Canyon West employee remain with the loved ones of this individual and the members of the tour group," the tourist destination said in a statement.The first of the three deaths was not the result of a fall, according to Vanessa Ceja-Cervantes, a spokeswoman for the Grand Canyon National Park. Art has a way of bringing life to the world. Tucked away in Denver, Colorado, there are performers whose abilities and passion are unmatched. That place is Phamaly Theater Company. “This is a place where disability and just human difference is redefined,” says Regan Linton, artistic director of Phamaly Theatre. “It transforms the stories we tell, even though we are telling a lot of the same stories that other theatre companies do. We do it in a different way based off the identities of the people in our company.”Phamaly Theatre Company is a home for theatre artists with disabilities. “All the actors are exclusively actors with disabilities of all kinds,” Linton says. According to PTC website, it was founded in 1989 and created when five students from the Boettcher School in Denver, all living with disabilities, grew frustrated with the lack of theatrical opportunities for people living with disabilities. The group decided to create a theatre company that would provide individuals with disabilities the opportunity to perform. “Right now, we are rehearsing for ‘Chicago,’” says Kathleen Traylor, an actress and one of the co-founders of PTC. “Back then, they could figure out how to get a life-size elephant on the stage, but a wheel chair always baffled them.” Traylor was born with multiple deformities caused by something called amniotic band syndrome. Traylor performs in a wheel chair due to this condition.“I went to special education schools that was all disabled kids,” Traylor says. “In sixth grade, I was too young to audition for the theater. I watched the very second play that they ever did, and 10 minutes into the show and I forgot the entire cast was all disabled. I just thought I had to be part of that magic.”Phamaly Theatre Company has been around for 30 years. “We are changing the nature of how we think of disability – that it’s not a limitation,” Linton says. “It’s not a limiting experience.
