OTAY MESA, Calif. (KGTV) -- Police are searching for a person of interest after a mother and daughter were shot and killed at an Otay Mesa home Sunday morning.San Diego Police were called to the residence on the 4300 block of Ebersole Drive after receiving reports of shots fired around 8:30 a.m.When police arrived they found a 37-year-old woman in the front yard with a gunshot wound.Police then learned that another woman was injured inside the house. They found a 65-year-old woman, also suffering from gunshot wounds.Both of the women who were shot died from their injuries. Police believe that the person of interest in the case, Justice Love Peace, aka. Jeremiah Horton, took a 6-month-old boy from the home. Shortly after 3 p.m., police said they had safely located the 6-month-old boy, but were still searching for Horton.Horton is considered armed and dangerous.Police believe Horton is the infant's father, the 37-year-old woman is the infant's mother, and the 65-year-old woman is the 37-year-old's mother. Pinal County Sheriff's Office says an electronic road sign showed an offensive message overnight in Queen Creek. Several viewers of Scripps station KNXV in Phoenix reached out Friday morning regarding a road sign along Hunt Highway that said "Hail Hitler". According to PCSO, the department first received a call about the sign around 2:30 a.m. A private company reportedly owns the sign and Pinal County officials say they were unable to reach the company for help at that time. They also reached out to Pinal County's public works department for help, but they too were unable to turn off the sign. Crews eventually covered up the sign so it could no longer be seen by passing drivers. KNXV crews headed out to the area later Friday morning where workers were on scene and confirmed the sign no longer had the offensive message.KNXV has reached out to the company for comment on the incident but has not yet heard back.  970

(KGTV) -- Thursday, the world’s first autonomous robotic kitchen assistant, Flippy, made its debut.Flippy will begin working alongside kitchen staff at CaliBurger’s Pasadena location.Flippy will, of course, be flipping burger patties and removing them from the grill.The robotic arm was created by Miso Robotics, a company that specializes in robotics and artificial intelligence solutions.The company also developed Miso AI, a cloud-connected learning platform that powers the robotic arms.The technology can detect when the raw burger patties are places on the grill and monitors each one as it cooks.Miso AI displays cooking time and alerts staff when it’s time to place the cheese on top of the patty or dress the burger. 755

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – From China to Egypt and beyond, the halls of history span the globe.Yet, it’s been lonesome lately in those halls at some of the 35,000 museums across the country.“We, of course, wanted to reopen as soon as we could and safe a manner as we could,” said Melissa Smith, CEO of the Penn Museum in Philadelphia.It’s one of the few major museums to recently reopen to visitors, after coronavirus restrictions forced them to close their doors for months.“For the most part, it's business as usual with our exhibits,” Smith said.First, though, a task force of 35 museum employees needed to figure out what changes might be needed.“We had to look at a number of things,” Smith said.Among the changes: masks are a must, hand sanitizing stations are now located throughout the museum, clear partitions were installed to protect staff who interact with visitors and benches were marked off, so people can sit socially-distanced.Also, arrows now line the stairs and floors, carefully choreographing how visitors move through the exhibits.“They asked us to follow the arrows and it kind of was a different museum experience, but also I think very helpful, just because there wasn't any confusion,” said museum visitor Soheil Eshghi.There are a few other changes, too: some of the exhibits around the museum have touchscreens, so visitors can dig a little deeper into what’s on display and learn more. The museum is now giving out a disposable stylus to visitors, so they can safely use the touchscreens.Visitors said they don’t mind the changes and are just happy for the chance to come back.“I think that’s one of the things that I've been missing the most since all this shutdown started happening,” said Camille Lawhead, who was visiting the museum.Now, visitors no longer need to be missing it. 1813
