GUANGZHOU, May 21 (Xinhua) -- Eight people died and four others were reported missing as rainstorms wreaked havoc in south China's Guangdong Province on Friday.
Patino said the arrival of Chinese tents and beds "will help us a lot," while noting that this contribution is the result of the "strong and deep" strategic partnership of the two countries.
"This initiative seeks to enhance mutual cooperation on various fields including economic, security and cultural front among regions of the world including the South Asia," he said, adding that China wants to closely work with all countries of the world to promote people-to-people contacts among these countries.

For his part, Kyrgyz Economy Minister Arzybek Kozhoshev said in his welcoming speech that the visit will open a new window to Central Asia for Hong Kong.
