(KGTV) — While concerts are on hiatus during the pandemic, the Del Mar Fairgrounds will host several "concerts in your car" this fall.Acts including Dirty Heads, DJ Snoopadelic (aka Snoop Dogg), Slightly Stoopid, The Beach Boys, and more will take the stage at Del Mar between Sept. 25 and Nov. 1. Concerts will be held on a high, theater-in-the-round style, four-sided stage to give concertgoers a view of the show from any direction.Ticket prices for vehicles range based on the concert and which color-coded section you select. Many of the concerts start at per car for the furthest section from the stage. Large video screens have been added to each side of the stage.Passengers must not exceed the number of seats and seat belts in a vehicle, according to the concert series' producer. DENVER -- A police body camera video leaked to Scripps station KMGH in Denver shows the son of Denver Mayor Michael Hancock using a slur against an Aurora police officer during a traffic stop.“My dad’s the mayor, you f---ing f--got,” Jordan Hancock is shown saying in the video clip.“Of Denver? Well you’re in Aurora,” the officer responds.“Guess what, I’m about to get you fired you f---ing b---h,” Hancock is heard saying later.The video clip sent to KMGH by an anonymous source is only about 20 seconds long and ends with 22-year-old Hancock driving away. KMGH requested the full video from Aurora police but the request was declined.KMGH has learned that after requesting a copy of Jordan Hancock’s ticket and the body camera video, the Aurora Police Department alerted the office of Denver’s mayor. APD said it notified Mayor Hancock's office as a “courtesy.”A traffic ticket issued to Jordan Hancock says he was driving 65 miles an hour in a 40 miles per hour zone. DEL MAR, Calif. (KGTV) -- Another shark sighting in Del Mar prompted lifeguards to leave in place signs warning swimmers to enter the water at their own risk. According to lifeguards, the five-foot-long shark was spotted at 1 p.m. off 15th street as crews patrolled the area in a boat. Lifeguards say the advisory signs will be taken down in 24 hours unless any more sharks are spotted in the area. The sighting marks the fourth day in a row a shark has been spotted in the area. Research biologists say if a shark is under six feet, they are juveniles and eat smaller fish, posing no threat to people. “If I saw a sub-adult or anything over 6 feet, I would probably personally get out of the water,” Heidi Dewar, Research Biologist at the Southwest Fisheries Science Center said. DENVER (AP) — A couple convicted of criminal charges in the so-called balloon boy hoax that fascinated the country more than a decade ago were pardoned Wednesday by the governor of Colorado.Dozens of rescue crews scrambled to save the 6-year-old boy after Richard and Mayumi Heene reported he had floated away in a homemade UFO-shaped silver helium balloon in 2009.According to the Associated Press, authorities said the couple staged the incident because they wanted publicity to pitch reality TV shows.But the child was never in the balloon. According to the AP, he was home in Ft. Collins.The couple eventually pleaded guilty, served jail time, and was ordered to pay restitution.Democratic Gov. Jared Polis says they don’t deserve to be dragged down by criminal records for the rest of their lives.“In the case of Richard and Mayumi Heene, the “balloon boy” parents, we are all ready to move past the spectacle from a decade ago that wasted the precious time and resources of law enforcement officials and the general public,” Gov. Polis said in a statement. “Richard and Mayumi have paid the price in the eyes of the public, served their sentences, and it’s time for all of us to move on. Detroit police are investigating after a teen was shot in the back of the head while live on Instagram.According to police, it happened in a home in the 17600 block of San Juan on the city's west side.Police say just before midnight, two 18-year-old men were live on Instagram with guns and money. Per the suspect, he accidentally put his finger on the trigger and discharged the rifle, striking the other 18-year-old in the back of the head in the living room.Police and medics arrived on scene and pronounced the man dead.The other 18-year-old was taken into custody.  583
