"We will relive the China-Mongolia friendship through more than 20 activities including cultural performances, exhibitions, exchanges of books, watching movies and TV series and free medical exams under a broader theme called 'Feel China' for the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mongolia," Xing said at the ceremony.
The meeting was jointly held by several departments, including the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council.
They also voiced their hope that bilateral economic and trade consultations will gain ground with an agreement being reached at an early date.
Nazarbayev told Li that China is a good friend of his country and China's development is vital to Kazakhstan.
Xi stressed that it is of great significance to ensure stable and sound economic growth in the second half of the year during which the country will celebrate its 70th founding anniversary.
