The Chinese side will work with the AU closely to implement President Xi Jinping's promise of assistance, and boost cooperation on Africa's infrastructure and Industrialization to benefit the African people.
The two countries should also enhance people-to-people exchanges and expand cultural, educational and tourism cooperation to consolidate the foundation of bilateral friendship, Xi said.
Established in 1994 as the first intergovernmental project between China and Singapore, the park has been regarded as a model for China's collaboration with foreign countries. It has so far attracted 26.7 billion U.S. dollars in foreign investment, as more than 90 Fortune 500 enterprises have invested there.
Over the next five years, the international community will still be looking forward to China's sustainable development, hoping that the country will serve as an engine for the world economic recovery.
China will take over the G20 presidency on Dec. 1, 2015, and a series of related meetings will be held next year, according to Wang Xiaolong, the Chinese Foreign Ministry's special envoy on G20 affairs.
