Tris Pharma issued a voluntary recall notice on Wednesday for Infants' Ibuprofen Concentrated Oral Suspension due to products that have been found to potentially have higher concentrations of ibuprofen.The recall states that some infants who may be more susceptible to a higher potency level of drug may be more vulnerable to permanent NSAID-associated renal injury.The recall says that nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, or more rarely, diarrhea are possible adverse effects. UPDATE (July 7, 1:15 p.m.): San Diego County sheriff's officials announced the 19-year-old Spring Valley woman reported missing by her family in May was located.According to officials, Christalyne Suyat contacted sheriff's detectives on Tuesday to inform them that she was safe.No other details were released. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego County sheriff’s officials are asking for the public’s help in locating a young woman who has not been seen since early May.Sheriff’s Department officials said 19-year-old Christalyne Suyat was last seen on May 7. She was reported missing by her family on May 14, officials stated.Suyat is believed to be staying in the areas between Spring Valley and Chula Vista, and sheriff’s officials noted that “there is also a possibility she is in the hospital” but investigators said that has not been confirmed.Suyat is described by sheriff's officials as Hispanic with brown eyes and brown hair, and she has a distinct mole on her left cheek. She is 5 feet tall and weighs 170 pounds.According to officials, Suyat has a rose tattoo on her right hand and a Roman numeral tattoo on her left forearm.Anyone with information on Suyat’s whereabouts is urged to call the sheriff’s department at 858-565-5200. 1245

Two leading Democratic senators want answers from Aetna Chairman and CEO Mark Bertolini after a former medical director admitted under oath that he never read patients' medical records.Ron Wyden of Oregon, the ranking member of the Senate Finance Committee, and Patty Murray of Washington, the ranking member of the Senate Health Committee, fired off a joint letter to Bertolini this week, saying the medical director's comments raise serious concerns about Aetna's claims review process and whether the insurance giant has broken federal law. They asked the company to respond to the letter by March 20."Using medical records is a fundamental responsibility of health insurers when they review health claims," Wyden said in a statement. "Something is gravely wrong if a leading insurance company is failing to use this basic information at the expense of families' health and peace of mind."  906

US Attorney General Jeff Sessions has asked senior federal prosecutors to "evaluate certain issues" presented by House Republicans, including alleged ties between the Clinton Foundation and the sale of Uranium One.The Obama-era sale of the Canadian uranium mining company to Russia's Atomic Energy Agency, Rosatom, is already being investigated by House Republicans. The deal was approved in 2010, when Hillary Clinton was secretary of state. Although the claims have not been proven, some Republicans, including President Donald Trump, have alleged that Russian interests sought to donate to the Clinton Foundation to persuade Clinton to support the deal.In a letter to House judiciary committee chairman Bob Goodlatte, assistant attorney general Stephen Boyd said the senior prosecutors will make recommendations to the attorney general and deputy general on whether "any matters not currently under investigation should be opened, whether any matters currently under investigation require further resources, or whether any merit the appointment of a special counsel."Monday's letter comes after public criticisms of the Justice Department's focus from Trump, who has bemoaned the fact that he can't give direction to the agency."Everybody is asking why the Justice Department (and FBI) isn't looking into all of the dishonesty going on with Crooked Hillary & the Dems," Trump said in a series of tweets on November 3.
