BEIJING, March 12 (Xinhua) -- This year's Tree-Planting Day comes at a fitting time, as the memory of a sandstorm that ravaged large parts of north China last weekend is still stingingly fresh.
An initial investigation indicated that unauthorized mining at the Taozigou coal mine was the main reason behind the gas blast.
The plan will be discussed at a public hearing on May 23 before its implementation.
During the seminar co-organized by the OECD and the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, the OECD will present its latest survey on trade facilitation which shows that "multilateral agreement to cut red tape in international trade would dramatically reduce trading costs and add a substantial boost to the global economy."
The French leader also said that the 50th anniversary of relations between France and China in 2014 provides an opportunity for the two countries to work together to plan for the future of the bilateral ties, and to advance cooperation of mutual benefit.
