According to the Department, Deputy Matthew Creed died after being ejected during single-vehicle a crash on De Portola Road just east of Calle Arboles just after 9 a.m. Saturday. Starbucks says it has developed a solution to block customers from viewing pornography on its free public Wi-Fi.The coffee giant originally promised to block pron sites in 2016 as soon as it developed a system to block graphic sites. TEMPLE, TX — The body of a missing Fort Hood soldier is believed to have been found along railroad tracks in Temple, Texas.The Temple Police Department says around 5:36 p.m. on Tuesday, a call was received in reference to a medical call along railroad tracks.A caller advised that a man was observed near the railroad tracks. When officers arrived, it was determined the man had been dead for some period of time.Identification found at the scene indicates the victim may be missing Fort Hood soldier 23-year-old Elder Fernandes. However, no forensic confirmation has been made at this time.Sgt. Fernandes was last seen on Monday, August 17 and reported missing on Wednesday, August 19.Temple PD says at this stage of the investigation, there is no indication of foul play. The investigation is ongoing.Justice of the Peace Ted Duffield has ordered an autopsy, and next of kin has been notified."Our thoughts and prayers are with the Fernandes family during this challenging time," Temple Police Chief Shawn Reynolds said.Temple PD is the lead agency in the death investigation. (KGTV) - A freeway sign indicating drivers were using Interstate 5 South fell into traffic lanes Friday afternoon at the start of the holiday travel rush in Sylmar, north of Los Angeles.A driver reported to the California Highway Patrol that most of the sign fell into the middle lanes of I-5 at SR-14 at 1:15 p.m. Some parts of the sign were left dangling from the rigging.At least one driver hit some of the debris, according to the CHP’s online report. There were no reports of any injuries.Officers shut down south I-5 and diverted traffic into truck lanes, backing up the freeway into Santa Clarita.Caltrans crews removed the dangling sign and traffic on south I-5 was reopened about 3:30 p.m.The cause of the fall is under investigation. 766
