WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump was outraised by Democrat Joe Biden in September and is being outgunned financially by his rival with just weeks to go until Election Day. Trump’s campaign, along with the Republican National Committee and associated groups, raised 8 million in September, well short of the 3 million raised by Biden and the Democratic National Committee in the same period. Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh tweeted that the Trump effort had 1 million on hand at the end of September, compared with 2 million for Biden. 582

Brenda Lawrence, Stacey Abrams, April Ryan, Tamika Mallory, and Yusef Salaam.Organizers say the goal of the event was to channel the momentum for police accountability and call for reforms of the systems, structures, policies, and attitudes that enable police brutality and racial discrimination.Organizers say they also executed a civic engagement effort, which included registering participants to vote and encouraging them to participate in the Census.“Our 2020 Virtual March on Washington is about asking everyone — from protesters in the streets to elected officials at all levels of government — to commit to pursuing a new agenda that prioritizes equity, justice, and equal opportunity for all,” said Derrick Johnson, President and CEO of the NAACP. “As we approach the November elections, we must mobilize to vote like we’ve never done before.” 1638

We have to find a way to come together, bridge divisions, and focus on solutions that help the millions who are struggling. WASHINGTON D.C. (KGTV) -- President Donald Trump said Saturday that he plans to pull out of an arms control agreement between the US and Russia, according to the Associated Press. The pact, signed in 1987 by the US and the former Soviet Union, prohibits both countries from owning, producing or test-flying ground-launched cruise missiles with a range of 300 to 3,400 miles."Russia has violated the agreement. They have been violating it for many years," Trump said at the Nevada rally. “And we're not going to let them violate a nuclear agreement and go out and do weapons and we're not allowed to."The agreement keeps the US from developing new weapons, with the country saying it will begin developing the weapons unless Russia and China agree not to possess or develop the missiles. Russia has condemned the US for pulling out of the agreement, calling it a “very dangerous step,” while Congress remains mixed.A split also emerged internationally in Europe with Britain saying it stands “absolutely resolute” with the US and Germany calling the move “regrettable.” 1090
