The Pac-12 has set Sept. 26 as the start of its 10-game conference-only football schedule. The Pac-12 announced three weeks ago it would eliminate nonconference games for its 12 member schools.. The government’s leading infectious disease expert told CNN on Thursday that the NFL will need to take significant steps in order to conduct a season this fall.During an interview with CNN, Dr. Anthony Fauci said that the NFL will need to consider playing games in a “bubble,” much like how the NBA and MLS plan on resuming their seasons later this summer."Unless players are essentially in a bubble -- insulated from the community and they are tested nearly every day -- it would be very hard to see how football is able to be played this fall," Dr. Fauci told CNN.
