Video of an Arizona guitar hero is wowing people around the country.  The guitarist is Ridge Brown, a senior at Ironwood High School in Glendale, Arizona. He played the national anthem for a school assembly and the video posted by his teacher has gone viral, with thousands of clicks and attention from national news outlets. The reason, Ridge is a student with autism. The performance in front of his classmates was the first time he played in public, and he nailed it. "I was a little nervous, but I always felt excited," Ridge told Scripps station KNXV in Phoenix. "Autism can't hold me back because I'm a real rock star." That's the message his dad, Glen Brown, loves to hear. "There's a very, very smart person inside there, trying to get out," Glen said. Glen's mission in life is unlocking that potential. These days, Glen said Ridge loves talking and interacting with people, but that wasn't always the case. Ridge was nonverbal until age three. Music was the thing that finally freed Ridge from his autistic silence when he started singing with the radio. "It helps me express every emotion I have inside my entire brain," Ridge said. Now, he has plans for an encore."If the Suns wanted me to play the National Anthem at the game I'll be doing that," Ridge said. At the end of Ridge's first performance, a thunderous applause warmed dad's heart. "I broke into tears," Glen said. VISTA, Calif. – A Carlsbad pastor whose wife caught him molesting a female family member was sentenced to 15 years in prison Tuesday afternoon. Matthew Tague stood in Superior Court in Vista to read a statement of apology; taking 100 per cent responsibility for hurting those closest to him and saying he's getting counseling for his sex addiction."For all these things, I am and will be truly and profoundly repentant and in light of my terrible and reprehensible actions. I would like to share why I'm grateful that I was discovered on May 5, 2017."His wife stood then, talking about rehabilitation and forgiveness. "This sentence my husband faces, we all know is indeed lifelong; no matter what number of years is decided, these events will follow him for the rest of his life."Deputy district attorney Patricia Lavermicocca hammered on Tague's role in the community, as pastor of North Coast Calvary Chapel. (KGTV) - A local couple is defending themselves after having their claims questioned following the release of new surveillance video showing a man allegedly trying to snatch a toddler from their car in a Vista Costco parking lot last weekend.The surveillance video released Thursday night shows 37-year-old Adam Glavinic walking up to the driver's side of the parent’s white SUV. The SUV begins slowly backing out of the stall, and that is when Glavinic reaches for the rear passenger door handle. Glavinic is shown opening the door then quickly shutting it and stepping away as a woman gets out the driver’s seat to confront him. Glavinic doesn't appear to reach inside to grab the boy who was in the backseat, according to his parents.“There's way more to this story that people don't know,” said mother Jennifer Lawson on Friday. She said that she and her fiancé are taking heat from the public after describing the encounter differently from what the video reveals. “We didn't lie. We were told that from everybody who was seeing the incident that he did touch our kid. He did reach his hand in the car. So, that's what we went off of. I didn't see [it] because I jumped out of the car as soon as I saw that guy open up the door,” she told ABC10 News.Earlier this week before the video came out, the couple said the man tried to pull their boy out of his car seat.Glavinic was arrested for attempted kidnapping and being under the influence.In response to community outrage over Glavinic posting bail and getting out of jail the next day, the San Diego County Sheriff's Department published the video in hopes of alleviating concern.The sheriff's office said that, based on the video and other evidence, "the Vista Sheriff's Station believes there is no ongoing threat or danger to our community's children related to this incident."When asked if Glavinic should still be charged, Lawson replied, “I'm not sure. I don't know his intentions. I didn’t know if he was going to kidnap my kid or hurt him. All I know is that it was terrifying and I was scared for my kid's life, safety [and] everything.”The case has been referred to the DA's Office, which is reviewing it.
