The once mighty brands of Sears and Kmart are continuing to slowly disappear as Sears announced on Thursday the closure of 96 additional stores. The 96 locations, which are a mixture of Kmart and Sears branded stores, are set to close by February. The closing locations will have going out of business sales starting on Dec. 2. The footprint of Sears and Kmart will further shrink by one third with this round of closures, leaving fewer than 200 total locations nationally between the two brands. This announcement comes less than a year after more than 200 Sears and Kmart locations closed. While other retailers in recent years, such as Toys 'R' Us and RadioShack have faded away, Sears' demise would mark the end of an industry titan. The mother of missing 5-year-old Taylor Rose Williams has been arrested and charged with child neglect and giving false information to investigators, Jacksonville, Florida, Sheriff Mike Williams said Tuesday.The announcement came hours after authorities said human remains were found in in a wooded area in Alabama.Taylor's mother, Briana Williams, was charged at a Florida hospital, where she was being treated for an apparent overdose, Sheriff Williams said. The House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday approved a subpoena to obtain the full confidential report from special counsel Robert Mueller, sending a warning to Attorney General William Barr not to redact Mueller's report and setting the stage for a clash between Congress and the Trump administration.Wednesday's vote, which was divided along party lines, comes the day after an April 2 deadline House Democrats set for Barr to provide the full Mueller report to Congress. The Los Angeles Police Department has identified and arrested a suspect in the shooting death of rapper Nipsey Hussle.Eric Holder, 29, was arrested for homicide, the LAPD announced on Tuesday.Hussle was shot Sunday near a clothing store he owned in Los Angeles. In a statement, police said Holder walked up to Hussle and two other men as they stood outside a business in a strip mall on West Slauson Boulevard. He fired multiple times at them and then ran to a nearby alley where a vehicle -- "driven by an unidentified female" -- was waiting for him, police said. Holder entered from the passenger side and the vehicle fled, authorities said.Hussle died in the shooting and the two other men were injured and transported to the hospital.Los Angeles Police had requested the public's assistance in capturing Holder.
