PARIS, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese delegation to the Paris climate talks is busy communicating with parties concerned, striving for a comprehensive, balanced, powerful, ambitious and legally binding climate agreement, China's special envoy said on Friday.
The Taiwan issue is the core issue of China-U.S. relations and the U.S. should abide by the one-China policy, Wang Yi said after the talks.
Egypt was the first Arab and African country to build diplomatic relations with China. The two sides, treating each other with mutual understanding, respect, trust and support, have been developing their ties in a healthy and stable manner, said Xi.
Xi pointed out that the Party schools should become a leading think tank for both government and the CPC, pushing forward generalization and innovation in theories in new era, and deepening research on the country's major decisions and arrangements as well as hot-button social issues.
The recipients were Jan-Christer Janson from Sweden, Kazuki Okimura from Japan, Evgeny Velikhov from Russia, Peter J. Stang and Walter Ian Lipkin from the United States, Carlo Rubbia from Italy and Joannes E. Frencken from the Netherlands.
