A 3-year-old Mesa, Arizona boy was found crying next to his passed out father near a Mesa business.Mesa police report that on May 11, they responded to a business near Stapley Drive and Baseline Road for a man unconscious outside a business. An employee found 33-year-old David Rodriguez passed out with his 3-year-old son standing next to him, crying. Police woke up Rodriguez, but he reportedly kept dozing off as police were questioning him. He did not know where he was or how he got there. He also could not tell police how old his son was. Police located his car in the parking lot with the keys still in the ignition. They also allegedly found several open beer cans in the vehicle. Rodriguez has been charged with child abuse. 777

A 26-year-old tattoo artist was arrested on sexual abuse and assault charges after an incident involving an intoxicated teen last month.According to police documents, a 19-year-girl was offered a free thigh tattoo at the Dark Side Tattoo shop in Phoenix. Arturo Emmanuel Palafox and the victim were reportedly alone in the shop when he was giving the teen her tattoo on March 16, 2018. The pair reportedly left to get a bottle of Crown Royal and were both drinking during the incident. Police paperwork says Palafox engaged in unwanted sexual contact and intercourse with the intoxicated victim several times, photographed her and was seen on surveillance video stirring her drink when she left the room. The victim reportedly noticed a green powdery substance in her cup when she returned from a trip to the bathroom. A family member of the victim contacted ABC15 and said the victim could not remember portions of the incident, matching similar reports from police paperwork. Police say the victim contacted her sister during the incident and said she had been raped. Her sister showed up at the tattoo shop and was eventually able to take her from the scene. She alerted police that Palafox was leaving the shop and police were able to detain him during a traffic stop. Evidence collected included a small bag of green powder, a bottle of alcohol, unopened condoms and surveillance footage from the tattoo shop.Palafox was booked into jail on 15 counts of felony sex assault, six counts of felony sex abuse, one count of aggravated assault, two counts of unlawful recording and one count of kidnapping.  1669

While not without a few slower moments, the attraction brings a new standard to theme park rides.While Galaxy's Edge has provided a decent amount of "Star Wars" enjoyment, there has been something missing. ROTR rises above expectations, using four ride systems to deliver that feeling fans have craved since the park's "Star Wars" expansion opened last summer. (KGTV) -- The San Dieguito Union High School District is pausing its expansion of on-campus learning until January amid the coronavirus pandemic.The district said Saturday it originally planned to expand access to campus for one day a week of in-class instruction in November.“In order to provide a safe, stable, and sustainable return to campus, and in consideration of maintaining the integrity of our instructional model, we are moving that date to the week of January 4, 2021, for the remainder of Quarter 2,” the district said.Leading up to January, schools plan to hold meetings with parents and students to review bell schedules.Read the full letter from the district below: 689
