PETERSBURG, Fla. — Two assisted living facilities in St. Petersburg have been shut down after deplorable conditions were discovered.The St. Petersburg Police Department said they shut down two assisted living facilities after they discovered they had no running water, no power and broken windows. Officers said they also found drug paraphernalia.The two facilities are both run by Tampa Bay Behavioral Health.Officers said nine disabled adults have been displaced. SPRING VALLEY (KGTV) -- An hours-long SWAT standoff came to an end Thursday evening in Spring Valley. According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, the incident began around 1:30 on the 10700 block of Jamacha Boulevard. Deputies tried to serve the man with a warrant when he barricaded himself inside his home. The man was taken into custody around 6:30 p.m., the department says. Several nearby mobile homes were evacuated during the standoff. It's unclear at this time what the suspect was wanted for. 522

Big Bear Mountain Resort Thursday announced several road closures impacting those hoping for a weekend getaway.
