Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett says he’s concerned after seeing video of police using a stunning and arresting?a Milwaukee Bucks player Sterling Brown.The video is expected to be released soon, possible later this week. Police are reportedly bracing for backlash from the release of that video. This incident took place on the south side of Milwaukee in January. Police were called to a Walgreens because Brown was illegally parked across two handicap spaces. The officers say they tried to talk to Brown but had to deploy their stun guns to arrest him. Since that time, the arrest has been the subject of a police internal investigation."I have some of the same concerns that the chief has expressed over the video. I'm going to let the release of that speak for itself, but yes, I definitely have concerns after watching that video,” Barrett said. The mayor indicated that Police Chief Alfonso Morales had a similar reaction after seeing the video. Brown was not charged in the incident. More than 228,000 pounds of Hormel Spam and other canned meat products are being recalled because they might contain shards of metal, according to the US Department of Agriculture.The department's Food Safety Inspection Service said Saturday that the problem was discovered after four customers complained of metal objects in canned Hormel products. The FSIS did not say how the pieces of metal might have gotten into the products.Throughout the US, 12-ounce metal cans labeled "SPAM Classic" with the designation "EST. 199N" should not be eaten because of a risk of minor oral injuries, FSIS said. The cans have a "Best By" date of February 2021 and carry the following production codes: F020881, F020882, F020883, F020884, F020885, F020886, F020887, F020888 and F020889.Possibly contaminated cans of meat were also distributed in Guam. These 12-ounce metal cans contain "Hormel Food Black-Label Luncheon Loaf." The recalled cans are marked "Best By" February 2021 and carry the production codes F02098 and F02108.The products should be immediately thrown away or returned to the place of purchase, FSIS said. In a statement, Hormel said it was recalling the products "out of an abundance of caution," and that "the health and safety of consumers is our top concern."In 2016, Hormel voluntarily recalled 40 cases of Dinty Moore Beef Stew -- also because of possible contamination by "extraneous materials."The US-based Hormel Foods Corporation sells products in more than 70 countries. 1504

Multiple fire departments are fighting a massive house fire in Chandler early Thursday morning. An official at the scene near says the fire started around 3 a.m. local time in a second-story bedroom. Three residents of the multi-million-dollar property were able to get out safely, but they are now displaced.Video from the scene showed the blaze engulfing the home and huge smoke plumes billowing from the home. NATIONAL CITY, Calif., (KGTV)-- Residents and business owners in the South Bay are bracing for another round of floods. They have already seen flooding on 18th Street in National City this week, caused by the king tides. Now with the rain, many expect it to be worse. According to FEMA, businesses near West 18th Street and Roosevelt Ave. are right in a low-elevation flood zone. Ocean water travels from the San Diego Bay, up the Sweetwater Channel, and into Paradise Creek. That creek backs right into Jose's Auto Electric yard. Wednesday morning, the city shut down the road because of flooded streets caused by King Tides. During the day, luckily, the water receded before reaching the front door at Jose's Auto Electric. Check 10News Pinpoint Weather The combination of rain and king tides reminded employee Alma Ramirez of last year's disaster. She remembered 30 inches of rainwater gushing into her office and destroying her equipment. "We lost a lot of stuff, and I remembered that I forgot my purse," Ramirez said. "I said, 'Oh my purse!' And I tried to come back, but in less than five minutes, the water was already up. And I said 'Forget about it, just let me get out of here.'"If the flooding gets worse, Ramirez said she may have to move all of the low profile cars in their shop to another location to avoid flood damage for their customers.Meanwhile, neighboring businesses closer to Paradise Creek have already put up sandbags to protect their front office doors and garages. Ramirez hopes it does not get to that point for her shop.The National Weather Services estimates the Flash Flood Watch to continue through 10 p.m. Thursday. More than 40 percent of attendees at an overnight summer camp became infected with Covid-19 within days before officials shut it down, according to the CDC.Local media reports it was a YMCA camp near a lake in Rabun County, Georgia.More than 260 staff and campers tested positive for the coronavirus, out of a total 597 people who were at the camp sometime between when it opened and when it closed in mid-June. Of the 260 who tested positive, 231 were campers aged 6 to 17 years old.In their report published Friday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says camp officials followed most of their recommended safety protocols. They say the two measures not implemented were cloth masks for campers and opening windows and doors for increased ventilation in buildings. Masks were required for staff members.The camp held orientation for staff members and trainees between June 17 to 21, then were joined by hundreds of kids on June 21 for a week-long camp session.On June 23, a teen staff member left the camp after developing chills the night before. They tested positive for Covid-19, and the camp began sending kids home on June 24. The entire camp was closed June 27.The camp was adhering to Georgia’s Executive Order that allowed overnight camps and required negative coronavirus tests less than 11 days before attending.“These findings demonstrate that SARS-CoV-2 spread efficiently in a youth-centric overnight setting, resulting in high attack rates among persons in all age groups, despite efforts by camp officials to implement most recommended strategies to prevent transmission,” says the CDC report on this outbreak.From the 136 cases where the CDC was able to gather symptom data, about 26 percent of those who tested positive for coronavirus had no symptoms at the time. 1804
