(KGTV) - Neighbors in San Marcos are sounding the alarm on a suspected prowler after his antics were caught on two different doorbell cameras.The first video from a homeowner in the Richland area of San Marcos shows a man cover his face while peering into a stranger’s home and whistle at the dog inside in an attempt to stop it from barking.The second video from the front door of Sam Ilaian’s house captures the man loitering in his driveway before walking up to take the ring camera.“He pulled it off the wall completely,” said Ilaian, “brackets and everything.”The Sheriff’s department has the video now and Ilaian says the neighborhood is a little more vigilant.As for his front door, “I think now I’ll install more cameras there,” said Ilaian.  763

A 21-year-old American student was stabbed to death in Rotterdam, Netherlands, allegedly by her roommate, police said Friday.According to a police statement, authorities received reports of a quarrel Wednesday at an apartment on Kralingse Kerklaan in Rotterdam. When they entered the apartment, the statement said, police found Sarah Papenheim with stab wounds and attempted to resuscitate her. Police said those attempts were unsuccessful, and she died of her injuries.An investigation led authorities to the suspect, Papenheim's 23-year-old roommate, who was arrested at the Eindhoven train station, the police statement said. The two had their own rooms in the apartment but shared a kitchen and bathroom, police said.The suspect was identified as Joel Schelling, a source close to the investigation said. Schelling, who is believed to be a Dutch national, appeared in court Friday, the source said.Papenheim had moved to the Netherlands to study at Erasmus University in Rotterdam."Sarah studied psychology and lived in the Netherlands since 2016. (KGTV) — Texas Border Patrol agents found themselves caring for an 18-month-old child after her mother was taken to the hospital after crossing the border illegally.The infant was taken into Border Patrol's care on Tuesday after a pregnant Honduran woman traveling with the girl was caught crossing the border, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.The woman was experiencing abdominal pain and taken to Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center. While the mother received care, agents looked after the child at Uvalde Border Patrol Station until her mother was released.“I am proud of the agents and staff who continue to show great compassion during this humanitarian crisis on our southern border,” Del Rio Sector Chief Patrol Agent Felix Chavez said in a release. “However, our agents are continually pulled from their enforcement duties to watch over people at hospitals, and in this case a child while her mother was receiving care.”The mother was eventually allowed to leave from the hospital and reunited with her child, CBP said. (KGTV) — One woman was rescued and another person was reportedly buried after a partial cliff collapse at San Francisco's Fort Funston beach area.San Francisco Fire Department said the woman was rescued after she fell over a cliff after a partial collapse. The victim's injuries were not life threatening, according to SFFD.Another person was buried under the collapse, according to the fire department.
