President Donald Trump says he hopes he can end birthright citizenship in the United States with an executive order, according to an interview with Axios.In a minute-long preview of Axios' upcoming HBO series, Trump tells Axios reporter Jonathan Swan that it's "ridiculous" that any child born in the United States is automatically granted citizenship."We're the only country in the world where a person comes in, has a baby and the baby is essentially a citizen of the United States for 85 years with all of those benefits. It's ridiculous and it has to end," Trump said.Trump also stated that he believes the statute could be overturned by an act of Congress, though he's confident an executive order would be sufficient. Question-and-answer website Quora warned late Monday that hackers gained access to the personal data of as many as 100 million of its users.Quora discovered on Friday that one of its systems had been hacked by "a malicious third party," CEO Adam D'Angelo said in a blog post.The compromised information includes users' names, email addresses and encrypted passwords as well as data from social networks like Facebook (FB) and Twitter (TWTR) if people chose to link them to their Quora accounts.The hackers also obtained details about users' activity on Quora, such as questions, answers, upvotes and downvotes. PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- The suspect in a fatal stabbing in Rhode Island last month was apprehended apparently trying to cross from California into Mexico.U. S. Border Patrol says 35-year-old Michael Domenech approached the checkpoint on Interstate 8 near Pine Valley, in a car at about 2 a.m. Saturday.When agents approached the driver, he drove away from the checkpoint. Authorities say agents used a tire deflation device to deflate one of the car's tires.The pursuit continued for 20 minutes until Domenech was taken into custody.Domenech is wanted in connection with the fatal stabbing of Cory Vargas in Providence on Sept. 24. 640
