ATLANTA (AP) — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has completed its probe into the shooting death of Rayshard Brooks, more than three months after the Black man was fatally shot by a white officer outside a fast-food restaurant in Atlanta.Agency spokesperson Nelly Miles confirmed to E.W. Scripps in an email that the findings from the investigation were turned over to Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard on Monday.Miles told E.W. Scripps in an email that the case file is not available for release at this time.Howard has already charged two officers involved in the June 12 incident.Former Atlanta police officer Garrett Rolfe and officer Devin Brosnan arrived at a Wendy's because Brooks' vehicle was parked in the drive. He was asleep at the wheel, which surveillance video and footage from police body and dashboard cameras show.After a brief discussion, the officers submitted Brooks to a field sobriety test, which he failed.According to officials, Brooks offered to lock his parked car and walk home, but the officers informed him he was under arrest. A struggle ensued, Brooks tried to flee the scene after grabbing Brosnan's stun gun. Rolfe then shot Brooks in the back when Brooks pointed the stun gun in Rolfe's direction.On June 17, Rolfe was charged with felony murder and 10 other crimes, including four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and several violations of his oath of office.Brosnan was placed on administrative duty and is currently free on a ,000 signature bond, CNN reported. And this was the largest forest fire in the White River National Forest history," said Forest Supervisor Scott Fitzwilliams, speaking about the Grizzley Creek Fire. Fitzwilliams says not all wildfires cause complete destruction. In fact, many provide some crucial ecological benefits. Take the big horn sheep who live in the forest. "Their defense mechanism is those big eyes on the sides of their heads so they can see predators coming. And so, they will abandon a habitat when there's too many trees and too much brush and so in many areas of the canyon, this fire improved big horn sheep habitat," said Fitzwilliams.The Grizzly Creek Fire also burned the top of a canyon, helping the habitat for elk and deer. As of today, NASA rates Bennu's chance of striking Earth at one-in-2,700.The asteroid is roughly 1,600 feet in diameter, and would not be an Earth-ending event if it struck. But that doesn't mean it couldn't cause damage, especially if it struck near a populated area. Bennu is likely dozens of times larger than the object that struck near Chelyabinsk, Russia in 2013, causing hundreds of injuries, and thousands of broken windows. The event caused nearly million in damage to roughly 7,000 buildings. The 2013 event shows that even small objects are capable of causing massive damage. In 2016, NASA launched OSIRIS-REx, which will land on the asteroid and bring back samples. The information gathered could help NASA decide what steps it would take to deflect the asteroid. According to the Washington Post, NASA is working on a plan called the Hypervelocity Asteroid Mitigation Mission for Emergency Response, or HAMMER. NASA's HAMMER plan could involve using a nine-ton bulk impactor to push Bennu out of Earth's path. Another idea would be straight out of the movie "Armageddon," using a nuclear-type device to move the asteroid. A NASA engineer involved in the study told the Washington Post all of these ideas are theoretical. “We’re doing these design studies to prepare ourselves, so if we do find a threatening object, we’re better prepared to deal with it,” Brent W.
