Duncan Hunter, according to the White House Press Secretary.Hunter pleaded guilty in 2019 to misuse of campaign funds and was sentenced to 11 months in federal prison.“Mr. Hunter has dedicated much of his adult life to public service. Mr. Hunter represented California’s 50th Congressional District from 2013 to 2020. Prior to his time in Congress, Mr. Hunter was an officer in the United States Marine Corps. (KGTV) - It will soon be easier to enjoy your favorite Disneyland foods during a day at the park.Disney will soon roll out a new mobile ordering service for food through its Disneyland App. With the new feature, guests will be able to place orders while at the park without waiting in line to order. Here's how it works: Guests use the app to place a food order at any participating restaurant and select an arrival time window for pickup. Guests will be notified when their order is ready for pick up at a designated window. (KGTV) - Neighbors in San Marcos are sounding the alarm on a suspected prowler after his antics were caught on two different doorbell cameras.The first video from a homeowner in the Richland area of San Marcos shows a man cover his face while peering into a stranger’s home and whistle at the dog inside in an attempt to stop it from barking.The second video from the front door of Sam Ilaian’s house captures the man loitering in his driveway before walking up to take the ring camera.“He pulled it off the wall completely,” said Ilaian, “brackets and everything.”The Sheriff’s department has the video now and Ilaian says the neighborhood is a little more vigilant.As for his front door, “I think now I’ll install more cameras there,” said Ilaian.  763

(KGTV) -- Wet winters are no longer a sign that California will have a reduced risk of wildfires, according to a new study. The study claims that from 1600 and 1903, the position of the North Pacific jet stream over California was linked to the amount of precipitation and the severity of the following wildfire season. After 1904, the connection between winter moisture brought by the jet stream and the severity of wildfire season weakened. Now, fuel buildup from decades of fire suppression and rising temperatures from climate change means any year could see large wildfires, the report states. "The moisture availability over California is still strongly linked to the position of the jet stream, but fire no longer is," said co-author Valerie Trouet, an associate professor of dendrochronology at the University of Arizona Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research. The added moisture that winter was followed by many large fires in 2017 including the Tubbs and Thomas fires. In 2017, 24 people died and nearly 7,000 structures were destroyed by fires. (KGTV) - The search for a young East San Diego County man will be profiled this month by missing persons investigator John Walsh. Twenty-year-old Elijah Runningbear Diaz, a member of the Barona Tribe, was last seen Aug. 29, 2015 in El Cajon. His mother dropped him off at his home on Joey Lane about 10 p.m. Diaz’ mother reported him missing the next day - the day his cell phone was turned off. There was no further activity on his bank account or social media. RELATED: Family still searching for missing El Cajon man Officers found a 50-inch television had been removed from his bedroom along with his sheets and the contents of a safe. Diaz has type one diabetes and, at the time of his disappearance, had a serious foot injury that required him to use crutches. He also has a bear claw tattoo on his inner left forearm. El Cajon Police joined Diaz’ friends and relatives for a door-to-door search near his home in 2015.
