(KGTV) — An arrest has been made in connection with an Escondido house fire this week where a man was found unresponsive and later died.Jose Trinidad Romero, 32, was arrested Wednesday after his truck was stopped by police in Escondido. Investigators said they believe Romero knew the man found unresponsive in the fire, but are unsure of the exact relationship. On Oct. 4, firefighters and police responded to the fire in the 600 block of Waverly Place. The victim, who has not been publicly identified, was found inside unresponsive. FALLBROOK (KGTV) - A mobile home fire spread to brush in the Fallbrook area, North County Fire reported Tuesday.The flames broke out about 2:40 p.m. at Highway 395 and Rainbow Valley Road. The mobile home fire sparked three small brush fires nearby.The fires were extinguished within half an hour.There are no reports of injuries or road closures.An employee of a nearby business was unaware of the fire.10News is monitoring breaking developments. 455

Facebook announced on Friday that the social network had exposed the private photos of millions of users without their permission.The company said a bug recently allowed third-party app developers to access photos people may not have shared publicly. ESCONDIDO (CNS) - A 31-year-old man was jailed Tuesday on suspicion of seriously injuring another man with a hatchet during a fight at an Escondido transit center, police said. Dispatchers received a call around 9:40 p.m. Monday from a person who reported that two men were fighting at the Escondido Transit Center on West Valley Parkway, west of Centre City Parkway, Escondido police Sgt. Mike Graesser said. Officers responded to the scene and found both men near the transit center suffering from serious injuries, Graesser said. Both men were taken to a hospital for treatment of their injuries, which were not believed to be life-threatening, Graesser said.
