EL CAJON (KGTV) — Parents and coaches near El Cajon are searching for the man who turned their little league field into a dumping ground."Had me angry from the moment I saw it," said Travis Hudson.Hudson is president of the Rios Canyon Little League. He showed us the old 17-foot-boat and trailer now resting just past the right field fence. Hudson says on Sunday afternoon, a man driving an old, white Dodge Ram truck dumped the boat and some tires, before coming back and unloading another a 20-foot boat. Hudson says one of his coaches confronted the man when he returned with another load, which included jet skis. The man claimed he was having issues with his truck and would return later to pick up the items. He never did.Hudson says near the dumpster, he found more items."Black bags and furniture items, which waste management picked up. Now we have stuff that has overflowed on the side, including clothes," said Hudson.After Hudson posted photos on Facebook, he believes a member of the community picked up the 20-foot boat, but the other boat remains."It hurts because the kids are going to be impacted," said Hudson.Hauling the boat away will come right out of their tight budget."We're spending money to get grass repaired, to get facilities repaired. EL CAJON (CNS) - A driver whose blood-alcohol content was nearly quadruple the legal limit slammed into the back of a pregnant woman's car in Ramona two years ago, killing the woman and her unborn child, a prosecutor told a jury Wednesday.But a defense attorney denied that his client caused the crash, claiming the prosecution's case was based entirely on circumstantial evidence and a shoddy police investigation.Andrew Milonis, 46, is accused in the Mother's Day 2017 crash that killed 29-year-old Jessica Foderingham and her unborn child, a girl who Foderingham and her husband planned to name Ayanna. The couple then left home for Jessica Foderingham's grandmother's house in Ramona, taking two cars -- Jessica in her Dodge Dart and Christian driving the boys in his Hyundai.He was driving ahead of his wife when he heard a loud bang behind him, saw a dark-colored SUV swerve onto a sidewalk and witnessed his wife's car slam into a tree. He could only confirm that the driver was Caucasian.Clay claimed that at the time of the crash, Milonis was not near the crash scene.The attorney also said the California Highway Patrol "made major mistakes" in their investigation of the case, and that "critical, forensic evidence" had been lost or destroyed, though he did not specify what that evidence was.Clay said he expected the jury to be "angry and want to hold someone responsible. (KGTV) -- El Cajon Police searched an illegal marijuana dispensary that resulted in six people being detained Thursday morning.Police served the search warrant after receiving complaints about the illegal business, which is located near homes on the 400 block of West Douglas Avenue.The City of El Cajon doesn’t allow marijuana dispensaries within city limits.When police arrived, they found marijuana, marijuana edibles, drinks and cash.Police said no arrests have been made in the case, but the investigation is ongoing. 547

DOWNTOWN (CNS) - Authorities shut down lanes of Interstate 5 in Downtown San Diego as firefighters battled a small fire that broke out in palm trees near San Diego City College's campus, just west of the freeway Saturday afternoon.The fire was first reported at 3:44 p.m., according to a California Highway Patrol incident log.The CHP closed the right two lanes of southbound I-5, leaving only the left two lanes open. Ramps onto I-5 were also closed in the area, including the ramps from C Street and Pershing Drive to southbound I-5, according to San Diego police Officer Robert Heims.
