BEIJING, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday charted a course for the world to confront the COVID-19 crisis and meet more challenges in the future while addressing the general debate of the 75th session of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly.
"Once Hong Kong fully controls the epidemic and realizes regular exchanges with the mainland, half of its economic activities can be resumed. The other half, however, will depend on epidemic management in foreign countries," Leung said.

Noting that this year marks the 70th anniversary of China-Myanmar diplomatic ties, Huang, also head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, called for building a China-Myanmar community with a shared future upon implementing the consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries.
Sonia Bressler, a French expert on China, said that the Chinese government has always adhered to a people-centered governance philosophy and improved the well-being of local people by facilitating their employment.
What's also worth noting is that four Chinese vaccines are currently in Phase III clinical trials, and China is collaborating with a number of countries on the research and development, production and procurement of vaccines. China has joined COVAX, a United Nations-backed global facility to ensure effective and equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines, and is ready to advance international vaccine cooperation.
