The store will be split into three units, with each one selling for per night, but the catch is it’s only open to residents of Deschutes County, Oregon, where the final Blockbuster Video remains.Blockbuster will provide snacks, soft drinks and pizza with the units. The units will also have access to a huge collection of Blockbuster’s stock.The units are available for up to four people, but can only be rented for one night per family.Following three nights of stays, the Oregon Blockbuster will allow visitors to see the units during regular business hours for a limited time.The Bend, Oregon, Blockbuster became the final location open of the mega video rental chain in 2018 after a pair of Alaska locations closed. ORIENTAL, N.C. – A Navy veteran says his Chihuahua mix saved his life.Rudy Armstrong was on his houseboat in Oriental, North Carolina, when he suffered a stroke, according to CarolinaEast Health System.Luckily, Armstrong’s dog, Bubu, was there and sprang into action.“He and Bubu have a special bond and when Rudy couldn’t get to his phone to call for help, he looked his little friend in the eyes and said ‘I need help. Go get Kim,’” wrote the hospital in a Facebook post.Immediately, the hospital says Bubu ran off to get Kim, the area dockmaster, who called 911. They ultimately saved Armstrong’s life, with the help of paramedics and the staff at the hospital.On Aug. 7, the hospital says it was able to orchestrate a reunion between the veteran and “his best girl.” It was an emotional moment for everyone there. With not many businesses enforcing a dress code at home, the company Coupon Follow decided to see just how casual people were getting. "For this survey we actually surveyed over 1,000 people that had previously been sitting in an office almost every day working and now, of course, are no longer working at the office. They're all working from home. And it was a broad range of ages from 30s to 70s from all over the country and from a wide range of industries," said Michael Parrish DuDell, Coupon Follow's Chief Strategy Officer.DuDell says the idea was to get a snapshot of how people are dressing these days, how much money they're spending on clothes and what they like to wear. Coupon Follow connects customers with shopping deals around the country. Their survey found one possibly surprising result."We did find that 29 percent of workers work naked when working from home. Did that surprise me? That’s probably one of the words I would associate with my response to that. No, it didn’t surprise me. I think what surprised me is that people were so honest about the fact that they were working naked while working from home. I imagine that people weren’t working the full day naked. My guess is that there were some experiences where perhaps they had to and they answered the question with that in mind," said DuDell.The survey also showed the most popular work-from-home outfit was either loungewear or athletic wear. For the most part, people are really enjoying wearing a more casual wardrobe day to day. She says while some employers have still enforced a dress code policy for their employees working from home, many have relaxed those rules."I think it makes sense, especially in the world that we’re living in today considering that there’s a lot of challenges. So, being more comfortable in our current surroundings and most of us are at home, feels like one less thing to worry about," said Frydenlund. Frydenlund says many employers will have to re-establish their pre-COVID dress code rules once they welcome people back to the office."In general, I think people are asking themselves a really important question, which is, if I am doing something at my office - whether it's putting on a button-down shirt or whether it's doing work that can be done from home, they're thinking about that question. On Tuesday, the Justice Department awarded more than million in grants to nonprofits who help survivors of human trafficking.Attorney General William Barr, Ivanka Trump, an adviser to President Donald Trump, and other officials announced that 73 organizations in 34 states will receive the grants, which will be provided by the Office for Victims of Crime, which is a component within the Justice Department's Office of Justice Programs.“Human trafficking is a barbaric criminal enterprise that subjects its victims to unspeakable cruelty and deprives them of the most basic of human needs, none more essential than a safe place to live,” Attorney General Barr said in the statement. “Throughout this Administration, the Department of Justice has fought aggressively to bring human traffickers to justice and to deliver critical aid to trafficking survivors.
