Police are investigating two related robberies that happened late last night.A 71-year-old woman, her adult daughter and juvenile granddaughter were robbed by 2 men around 11:18 p.m. in the parking garage at Treasure Island on the Las Vegas Strip. Police say the 3 females were battered during the incident. The extent of their injuries are unknown.Next, police say a couple, both of whom are 18 years old, were robbed by the 2 men with a gun in a parking lot at Fashion Show mall.Police spotted the men in the parking garage of the SLS hotel-casino. Police asked for the public’s help Wednesday to identify a man they say tried to kidnap a 3-year-old from a grocery store in Brooklyn.The child was in a stroller and with his grandmother at the Thanksgiving Supermarket, at 2239-2247 86 St. in Gravesend, Monday around 3:49 p.m. when the incident occurred, police said.While the grandmother wasn't looking, police said a man grabbed the stroller and took off. 416

Personnel from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention who have been stationed in the Democratic of Congo to help control the ongoing Ebola outbreak have been pulled back from the worst impacted areas due to safety concerns, a US government official familiar with the situation told CNN Monday."They are not in any hot spots," the official said.Since this most recent outbreak began Aug. 1, there have been 211 cases of Ebola, including 135 deaths as of Sunday, WHO spokesman Tarik Jasarevic confirmed. Police in southwest England say two people are in critical condition and are being treated "for suspected exposure to an unknown substance."
