The intense heat may cause that water to boil and result in eruptions.The lava lake in the crater has been dropping since May 2, which increases the chances for a phreatic explosion, but it will be difficult to warn residents who may be in the path of such an eruption.Phreatic eruptions are "notoriously hard to forecast, and can occur with little or no warning," Hawaiian Volcano Observatory geologist Janet Babb said.While the ash being launched into the sky is not poisonous, Hawaii County officials have warned residents about toxic sulfur dioxide seeping out of 21 fissures caused by the volcano."Severe conditions may exist such as choking and inability to breathe," the county's Civil Defense Agency said Wednesday. An Uber driver pulled a knife on his passengers on Sunday morning after one of them said his vehicle smelled like smoke, according to police.Two passengers were getting out of an Uber in Lakewood, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland, around 12:38 a.m. when a female passenger slammed the door and the driver made a comment to the female passenger.The female passenger said his vehicle smelled like smoke and she shut the door again. According to police, the driver exited the vehicle with a knife and yelled at a male passenger.According to the police report, words and physical slaps were exchanged between the two men. The driver threatened to get a gun, which prompted the man and woman to go into a house.The driver left the area. When police arrived, they took the knife that was found at the scene. Since the age of 12, he's kept his sexuality hidden. In his 20s, Felts had a secret relationship with a man named Phillip."I had this terrible dichotomy of what's right and what's wrong," Felts said.After nine months, Felts skipped town, leaving Phillip behind. Felts would go on to have a family, becoming a husband, father, and grandfather.After being divorced for 40 years, Felts continued to search for Phillip. An investigator even reached out offering to help find Phillip after his coming out.On Thursday night, Felts found out Phillip died two years ago."I'm sorry I waited so long.
