SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a door-to-door solicitor who has prompted a string of complaints about threatening outbursts and who was seen on video taking swings at a woman in Pacific Beach.Corey Lamont Terry, 45, is wanted on felony charges of making criminal threats and attempted burglary, according to the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego County will plan their own guidance around trick-or-treating and celebrating Halloween next month while staying safe during the pandemic.County Public Health Officer Dr. Wilma Wooten said the county will develop guidance surrounding how to safely celebrate the holiday while adhering to public health orders. Wooten added that they will also take cues from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the agency's guidance as well.Wooten said the county plans to have those recommendations by the end of the month."During the cloud of the pandemic, we have to get joy where we can. So we will be awaiting CDC guidelines but we'll be coming up with a process, a protocol," said Wooten. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego County reported 625 new coronavirus cases on Saturday, the region's second-highest daily increase of cases reported by officials.San Diego County's new cases reported a 6% positive rate out of 10,290 tests. Of the county's cases, 2,180 (9.4%) have needed hospitalization. Health officials add that 2.5% of all cases and 26% of hospitalized cases have been moved to the ICU.An additional six deaths due to COVID-19 were also reported, the county said. The deaths occurred between July 8 and July 16, and included four women and two men whose ages ranged from 60 to mid-90s. All had existing chronic conditions, the county said. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego Police are asking for the public’s help locating a man suspected of threatening a Target employee with a razor during a robbery.Police say the incident happened around 10 a.m. on March 25 at the Target on the 1200 block of Camino Del Rio North.According to police, a loss prevention officer noticed a man inside the store he recognized from previous encounters.Police say the man grabbed three memory cards and attempted to remove them from their cases.After removing one of the memory cards and placing it in his pocket, the man was confronted by the officer who followed him to the exit.The suspect then threatened the officer with a folding razor knife he removed from his waistband.The suspect is described as a six-foot tall 28-year-old white male wearing a tan colored long-sleeve dress shirt, blue jeans and black tennis shoes.Anyone with information is asked to call San Diego Police at 619-531-2299. 951
