(KGTV) - A video of kids from around the country giving thanks to emergency workers during coronavirus has gone viral in a way that its creator never imagined."I really think that when given the opportunity, the kids stepped up to the plate," says Sarah Hunter, a teacher at Sage Creek High School.She saw other people posting pictures of their kids with signs of gratitude and thought her kids could do something similar. "My three drew little pictures. They sat down and recorded what they had drawn and gave their little messages."Before posting that, she asked friends and family on Facebook to do the same with their kids. In just a few days, the video has more than 300 views."It's such a testament that the kids are all right," she says. "They get it. They understand. California, get ready for nonstop flights to Hawaii on Southwest Airlines. Southwest Airlines announced on Thursday that four California cities will serve nonstop flights to Daniel K. (KGTV) -- Customers of the Campo Group Water System are being advised that the county has issued a drinking water warning after samples found increased levels of nitrates.Sample results found that on September 2, 2020, nitrate levels exceeded the maximum contaminant level for safe drinking water.The group serves a mini mart, gasoline station, and an office, according to the county.Nitrates in drinking water are a health concern for infants less than six-months-old and pregnant women are advised not to consume the water.“Boiling, freezing, filtering, or letting water stand does not reduce the nitrate level,” the county said.The Campo Group Water System is providing bottled water until nitrate levels fall below the maximum contaminant level, the county said. 788

  

Chi Chi DeVayne, a popular contestant on the reality competition show “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” has died at the age of 34.Entertainment Weekly was one of the first news outlets to confirm the death of the drag queen, whose real name is Zavion Davenport.RuPaul confirmed the news in a statement on Twitter."I am heartbroken to learn of the passing of Chi Chi DeVayne,” wrote the TV show host. “I am so grateful that we got to experience her kind and beautiful soul. CARLSBAD, Calif. (KGTV) -- Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was discovered on a Carlsbad hiking trail Monday morning.Carlsbad police were called to the Hosp Grove Trails, near the Buena Vista Lagoon and in the 2600 block of Monroe Street, shortly before 11:30 a.m. after someone reported the discovery of a body in the area.The deceased woman, believed to be 65 years old, has not been officially identified.ABC 10News learned police are investigating the incident as a suspicious death. Police said the woman was found with an unspecified head injury.Police did not release further details on the investigation, including why it is considered a suspicious death. 695
