The department says it learned of the threat Sunday after receiving a report that 32-year-old Thomas Andrews had sent text messages to his employer, threatening the shooting. Officers began investigating and discovered Andrews was the registered owner of four handguns and rifle. Law enforcement then began an extensive search for him. At about 11:15 p.m. Sunday, the department says officers spotted Andrews and attempted to stop him, but he led them in a vehicle pursuit on a nearby highway.
