SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego Police officers on Friday were working to get a suspect to surrender after a reported shooting.Police say a shooting between the two vehicles occurred just before 2:30 p.m. in the 9800 block of Scripps Westview Way in Scripps Ranch. No one was injured in the shooting.The person who was shot at told police he knew where the suspect lived and officers responded to an apartment complex at 9700 Scripps Westview Way.Officers were trying to get the suspect to come out as of 3:15 p.m.10News is following this breaking news. On the field, our goal was to make playoffs. Now, we didn’t achieve that, but more important than that, we want to live to our values every day, and we unequivocally lived to the values we want to live to,” said Landon Donovan, the U.S. soccer star who serves as the team’s executive vice president.The squad, playing in the United States Soccer Federation (USSF)-sanctioned Division II, first had to deal with the repercussions of a global pandemic, postponing their season in March. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego County reported 634 new coronavirus cases on Friday, the highest number of new cases reported over one day thus far.The new cases were out of 9,224 tests reported to the county on Friday — a 7% positive result — and bring the region's COVID-19 case total to 22,489 cases.County health leaders also reported seven more deaths due to the virus on Friday. The victims died between July 7 and July 15 and include three women and four men, whose ages ranged from early 50s to mid-90s. All had existing chronic conditions. The county's death toll is now at 472 deaths.Two new community setting outbreaks were also reported, both traced to restaurants, the county says. The county does not name the businesses that community outbreaks are traced to, officials have previously said. In the past week, there have been 13 community outbreaks — nearly double the county's trigger of seven outbreaks in seven days.RELATED: Gov.
