PHOENIX — Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego says one area hospital is nearing capacity in its morgue and may be requesting refrigerated trucks. The morgue at the Maricopa County Medical Examiner's office is also reportedly near capacity.Gallego said Friday morning that officials are looking at an option to prevent problems at the Phoenix-area Abrazo Health Hospital."It's specific just to one area…this is not a statewide problem," Gallego said. "Maricopa County... is looking at everything they can do."Abrazo Health later issued a statement saying that they have "adequate" morgue space, but are taking "proactive" steps to ensure they have overflow morgue space if needed.Gallego added that "we are losing too many Arizonans." She also urged Arizona Gov. Police in North Carolina are searching for a suspect in the shooting death of a man who was killed while streaming live on Facebook, according to CNN affiliate WSOC-TV.The shooting took place Monday in the town of Wingate. The victim has been identified as Prentis Robinson, 55.Robinson's Facebook page is filled with live videos of him playing instruments and walking down the street with a selfie-stick.Nothing seemed different when the 55-year-old was filming live Monday morning, selfie-stick in hand, complaining about a family member who Robinson claims stole one of his three cellphones. According to WSOC, the video showed him stopping at the Wingate Police Department to report the alleged theft.The Facebook video shows Robinson as he left the station, walked up a hill toward his home and exchanged a few words with another man.Then there was gunfire and Robinson, along with his phone, fell to the ground.CNN has reached out for further comment from the Wingate Police Department.Wingate police Chief Donnie Gay told WSOC, "I'd just spoke to him, it was, I just ... it's hard to say anything about that. I just got through talking to him."Robinson was found face down on the street. Douglas Cleveland Colson, 65, was identified by police as a suspect in the shooting, and is now wanted on a murder charge, according to WSOC.The fatal shooting led to a lockdown at nearby Wingate University, which is less than a mile from the scene. (KGTV) — A Pine Valley restaurant owner says he will defy the county's order that shuts down indoor dining beginning Saturday."We are over it," said Larry McNamer, who owns Major's Diner in Pine Valley. "We can't do any more going backward. We can't. Not and stay open and be a viable part of the community."McNamer says 2020 has been a very challenging year, with sales down and its staff cut in half. Now, the increase in the coronavirus case rate is pushing San Diego County into the state's purple tier of restrictions, it's most strict. That means come Saturday, restaurants will no longer be allowed to serve indoors at 25% capacity, instead, they'll be limited to outdoor-only dining as the weather turns cold. McNamer said he takes the virus very seriously and has put social distancing measures in place. However, he says moving to outdoor dining only will make it impossible to survive, with temperatures in the 30s in the mornings. The diner is only open for breakfast and lunch."And at this point, if they want me to, I'll be more than happy to put the keys on the counter and leave them an invoice for the business and they can write me a check for it," he said.In a statement, the California Department of Public Health said it understands the frustrations, but that the spread of coronavirus remains a major concern. "California’s cases of COVID-19 are ticking upward, and the state is urging Californians to continue to do everything they can to protect themselves and the community from increased transmission of the virus," the statement said. Police in Delray Beach, Florida are looking for the person accused of attacking a 60-year-old man with a skateboard Sunday afternoon. The victim told police that a younger man used a skateboard as a weapon after the two exchanged words just before noon in the Dotterel Road neighborhood.The victim said he and his wife were walking around their property when they encountered a young man in a dark t-shirt, baggy shorts and dark skater sneakers.The victim's wife told police that she took a picture of the suspect because they have had problems with young men on skateboards damaging cars in the parking lot.The man with the skateboard told the victim to move, but he refused.Police said the suspect swung the skateboard, missing the victim, who fell to the ground. As he got up, he told officers that he unsuccessfully tried to push the attacker away. However the suspect, holding the skateboard in both hands, hit the man on the left side of his head, leaving him with a cut on his left ear and swelling on his head. Delray Beach Fire Rescue treated the victim at the scene of the attack. 1163
