HUDSON, Fla. — The online ad for NBEE TV makes big promises, like “our smart box will bring every movie, every tv show that’s ever been made, plus live sports with no blackouts.”The ad also promises “no monthly fees ever.”The Pasco Sheriff’s Office says NBEE TV, owned by Mickael Cantrell and Nancy Major, was selling these boxes out in the open.They cost between 0 and 0 and are modified to illegally stream all kinds of content.“This is someone blatantly on the side of the road just selling them, with signage, a store front; advertising on the internet with a website,” said Detective Darren Hill.Video piracy is a multi-billion dollar problem for the entertainment industry.And there are countless ways people are downloading illegally.It’s often a cat and mouse game to catch those responsible.But in this case, Hill found a statute that applied and checked with the State Attorney’s Office to make sure an arrest would stick.He also worked with the Motion Picture Association of America after seeing first run movies streamed through this box.“We saw that it had 'Black Panther', 'The Shape Of Water', 'Jumanji' was on there as well. Whenever someone steals that content and disseminates it for free, it usually results in higher prices for everyone else,” he saidHill said some people who bought these boxes have already turned them in as evidence. They aren’t being charged with a crime.He said if you have one, you should do the same, because the stream will likely be shut down soon.The Sheriff’s Office found the couple with about 50 of the boxes. The store in Hudson where the couple sold those devices is now shutdown. 1671

If your dog has been with your family for years, you may have noticed they've changed since you first adopted them, not just physically, but in their behavior. A recent study published in Scientific Reports confirms that.Researchers say a behavior may stay the same, but the way dogs express it will change.For instance, if dogs are active and curious when they're younger, they'll still be that way in comparison to other dogs when they get older. However, they may not be as interested in discovering things as they once were.“We know that dogs can become much more mellow,” said Alex Blutinger, Crical Care and Emergency Specialist at Blue Pearl Veterinary Hospital. “They can become less active, less interested in other animals and other environmental factors around them.”In comparison to humans, there's less of a need for dogs to change their personality over time.Dogs only need to meet basic criteria in order to function.Their prime time for development is between puppy age and 7 years old.“You could deduce from it that if your dog has good habits, up until the age of 7, they might retain those habits for the rest of their lives because at that point, it hits their maximum maturity level. At the same time, bad habits might stick as well,” said Blutinger.If you're looking to adopt a puppy, be aware they likely won't be the same dog 10 years down the road. In a fleeting moment, life can change dramatically. Two summers ago, Fred Quin was celebrating the 4th of July at his family’s lake cottage near Grand Rapids, Michigan. They loaded up the boat and headed to the sand bar.“I decided to go off the front of the boat, and that’s when it gets fuzzy,” Quin siad.Quin's girlfriend, Meghan Anderson, noticed Fred was acting strangely. She walked over to him and grabbed his shoulder.  He didn’t move.The group grabbed a raft, put it under Fred, called 911 and floated him to shore.  They were met by an ambulance.Within four hours, Fred was in surgery.  He'd shattered his C-6 vertebrae, causing his body to become motionless. "The surgery was to remove those pieces, put a donor bone in, put a plate in the front side, and on the back side put two rods going down my spine. And they fused my C-5 to C-7 vertebras," Quin said.The trauma doctor told Fred he would never walk again, and he would be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life.“It was devastating,” Anderson said.Quin wasn't giving up on his hope to walk someday, so he spent every day in therapy. With Anderson always by his side and after months of rehab, there was a sign of progress. Eventually, he began to regain feeling in his leg.“My first moment was my big toe on my left foot,” Quin said.Quin moved back home and started intense workouts at Detroit Medical Center's Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan (RIM).“Fred’s determination is what makes you make it enjoyable to come to work,” RIM Physical Therapist Kyle Weishaupt said.They have been putting Fred in a wearable motorized machine that helps increase strength and endurance during workouts.“With the robot, the Exoskeleton, and me, we can get him up, and we can do over 1,000 steps in one session,” Weishaupt said.As the steps progressed, so did Quin and Anderson’s relationship. On their eight-year dating anniversary, they returned to the water for a pontoon ride, and Quin proposed.“The next goal is to walk down the aisle with Meghan with just with one crutch,” he said.On May 12, Meghan became Fred’s bride, and he accomplished his biggest goal.He walked down the aisle on his wedding day — fulfilling his dream and sharing his special day with family and friends. “Whether it’s exactly how we wanted it to happen or not, that’s not what matters. It's that we’re doing it together, and we’re happy," Meghan Quin said. After the honeymoon, the Quins plan on getting back to their life and setting new goals for their future. HOUSTON (AP) — The Supreme Court has rejected a lawsuit backed by President Donald Trump to overturn Joe Biden's election victory, ending a desperate attempt to get legal issues rejected by state and federal judges before the nation's highest court. The court's order Friday was its second this week rebuffing Republican requests that it get involved in the 2020 election outcome. In a blog post, Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas said that Texas "has not demonstrated a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another State conducts its elections." "We do not have the discretion to deny the filing of a bill of complaint in a case that falls within our original jurisdiction," the justices said in the brief.According to a press release from the Republican Party of Texas, which was obtained by ABC News' Adam Kelsey, the decision by the justices would have huge ramifications that would possibly see law-abiding states banding together to form a Union of states that will abide by the constitution. 1031

In an interview this week, Donald Trump Jr. said he is waiting for “due process” in the case against a teenager accused of shooting three demonstrators in Kenosha, Wisconsin, killing two, and seemed to refer to being at the protests and the shootings as “stupid things.”The president’s son was talking to ExtraTV about his book, “Liberal Privilege: Joe Biden and the Democrats Defense of the Indefensible.”The show’s host, Rachel Lindsay, asked Trump about the Black Lives Matter movement, as racial tensions and violence at some demonstrations are brought up at President Trump and Former Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign events.After initial questions about what Trump Jr. thought of the movement, Lindsay asked, “The phrase 'Black Lives Matter…' do you understand what that means and what the fight is for it?"“Of course. And I agree with it,” Trump Jr. said, “It’s a very good marketing message, it's a great catchphrase, but that doesn't back up a lot of the political ideology behind it.”Lindsay then asks about his reaction to events in Kenosha. Jacob Blake, 29, was shot several times in the back by a Kenosha police officer. A few nights after Blake’s shooting, investigators say 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse drove to Kenosha from his home in Illinois with an AR-15. He allegedly shot three demonstrators, two of them died.Rittenhouse was arrested at his home and faces five criminal counts including intentional homicide and reckless homicide.On a visit to Kenosha, President Trump visited with police officers and business owners whose stores had been damaged by protesters. He said he did not meet with the Blake family because they wanted a lawyer present for the meeting.Lindsay pressed Trump Jr. on why the administration has not spoken out about what happened to Blake, or the demonstrators who were shot."But why hasn't the Trump Administration or President Trump condemned what happened in Kenosha with Kyle Rittenhouse… coming across state lines and… murdering two people and injuring another [at a protest]?” Lindsay asked.“We're waiting for due process. We're not jumping to a conclusion… If I put myself in Kyle Rittenhouse['s shoes], maybe I shouldn't have been there. He's a young kid.
