Former Vice President Joe Biden announced that he will indefinitely stay off the campaign trail as cases of the coronavirus spread. Biden said he will instead have "virtual events" for supporters to watch. The announcement comes as Biden became the clear frontrunner for the Democratic nomination on Tuesday after winning primaries in Michigan, Idaho, Mississippi and Missouri. Both Biden and his rival Sen. Bernie Sanders canceled campaign events in Cleveland on Tuesday following the advice of Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine. DeWine on Wednesday announced that he is banning large gatherings in Ohio in the coming days. Biden and Sanders are both going to Arizona on Sunday to participate in a presidential debate, which will be held without an audience. The debate is ahead of Tuesday's primaries in Ohio, Illinois, Florida and Arizona. Here is an official statement from Biden's campaign:"The health and safety of the public is our number one priority. We have been and will continue to consult with relevant officials, including our recently announced Public Health Advisory Committee, regarding steps the campaign should take to minimize health risks for staff and supporters. "As a result of those conversations and at the request of elected officials in Illinois and Florida, we will no longer hold large crowd events on Friday and Monday in those states. Tomorrow, Vice President Biden will deliver remarks on the coronavirus pandemic, Friday’s and Monday’s events will become virtual events, and the campaign will make announcements about additional details on the format and timing of the virtual events and on future events in the coming days." 1657

Claims against Drummond were included in the investigations. The company said Friday that Drummond is not getting an exit package as part of his departure. Drummond does not mention the misconduct allegations in a memo to employees on his departure. He joined Google in 2002. 660
From cameras to sensors and audible tones, more and more new vehicles offer safety technology to drivers. However, car buyers have mixed reviews about the features.“They are much faster at detecting incidents or possible crashes than people are,” says Kelly Funkhouser with Consumer Reports of safety technology in vehicles.Consumer Reports found 60 percent of car owners who have this type of safety technology say it’s helped them avoid a crash.“Two years ago, there were just a handful of vehicles where this was standard equipment as of last year, but that number went to almost 50 percent of vehicles that were coming equipped with automatic emergency breaking,” Funkhouser says.As much as people love these features, there are downsides.“Unfortunately, some of these sensors are quite costly if you do get into an accident,” Funkhouser says.According to AAA, minor crashes can cost ,000 in extra repair costs due to pricey sensors. When it comes to the safety features, new car owners find lane assist warnings annoying. However, the backup cameras and automatic braking are among the most popular features.Consumer Reports recommends never skimping on cars that have safety features.“If there is any way you can prevent an accident or even reduce the impact of an accident, these technologies are fantastic and will keep getting better every year,” Funkhouser says. 1385
