(KGTV) — A 53-year-old cyclist remains on life support after a hit-and-run crash in Ramona.Michelle Scott was biking to work Wednesday morning on State Route 67 when California Highway Patrol says a driver swerved onto the shoulder and hit her. They've since learned the vehicle had stolen license plates.CHP says the driver sped off from the crash site with Michelle's bicycle still lodged in the front grill, but Don isn't letting anger seep in."Anger is not going to help the recovery process," he said. "I'm actually most focused on the recovery of my wife."Both he and Michelle are Community Emergency Response Team volunteers through FEMA and the Ramona Fire Department, with training to respond to disasters."It's hard to accept the different stages of grieving when you already know them but you're the one that's going through the grieving," he said.Michelle was sent flying into the roadway after the crash. Researchers are working to find out who is buried in the 604 unmarked graves that were found on Clemson University's campus.In a press release, university officials said crews were surveying the Woodland Cemetery, located near Memorial Stadium in Clemson, South Carolina, when the unmarked graves were found.Using ground-penetrating radar, crews initially found 200 unmarked graves, but as the project went on, crews found 404 more graves."The number of graves coupled with the locations suggests the possibility that some may pre-date the period when the land was part of Calhoun's Fort Hill Plantation from 1830 to 1865," university officials stated in the press release. "Many of the graves are thought to be those of enslaved people who worked at the plantation and later as sharecroppers and Black laborers, including convicted individuals involved in the construction of Clemson College from 1890 to 1915."According to Greenville News, University Historian Paul Anderson and a research assistant will comb through census data and archives to find out who is buried there and when they were placed there.Former Clemson trustee Jim Bostic told the Greenville News that a large memorial would be put in place to honor those in the unmarked graves. 1258

(KGTV) — Crews responded to a fiery plane crash at Ramona Airport, though thankfully the aircraft's occupants escaped uninjured.The crash, reported around 8 a.m., caused the aircraft to erupt into flames, according to Cal Fire San Diego, but the fire did not spread to surrounding vegetation.All occupants of the aircraft have been accounted for and were uninjured, according to officials. 412
