According to a Tweet from a new bride, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg officiated the wedding of a family friend on Sunday.The photo is the first public sighting of the Supreme Court's oldest justice since the COVID-19 pandemic forced the high court to conduct business from home, NBC News reports.According to USA Today, Ginsburg presided over the wedding of Barb Solish and Danny Kazin on Sunday."2020 has been rough, but yesterday was Supreme," Solish wrote in a tweet, which included a photo of Ginsburg presiding over the ceremony.According to The Associated Press, a Supreme Court spokesperson said that Ginsburg is a family friend of one of the families and that the ceremony took place at a private residence. ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- Within a quiet lab, are scattered fragments of America’s storied past.“I never thought I'd be doing anything like this,” said Kenneth McNeill, an eight-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force.He also spent three years in the reserves and now is a part of the “Veterans Curation Program,” which provides training in archiving and archaeology.“I think one thing that happens a lot is that we just exist, and we don't think about things that happened in the past,” McNeill said.In the lab, though, the past is never out of reach.The artifacts come from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, who discovered the items at sites across the country during the excavation and construction of major projects, like dams and canals.“The Army Corps of Engineers had a need for people to do this curation work and the veterans have a need to find work and gain new skills and feel comfortable getting back into the workforce,” said Sarah Janesko, administrator of the Veterans Curation Program.The lab spaces are provided around the country by New South Associates, a company which specializes in archaeology and partnered with the Army Corps to train the veterans.“They feel like they're part of this larger mission to preserve our history and the cultural materials that come with it,” Janesko said.In just over 10 years, the Army Corps said the program has trained nearly 700 veterans, with 72% of them landing permanent jobs, some with the Smithsonian and National Park Service, while another 19% have gone on to further their studies in college.“It also gives us a sense of purpose, which is something I think veterans sometimes need when they separate from the military,” McNeill said. “We live in an area that has a lot of history to it. Airbnb has updated some of its COVID-19 protocols, requiring everyone to wear a mask and social distance when interacting with each other, as well as introducing a five-step cleaning process for hosts to follow amid the coronavirus pandemic.The online rental company also stated in its announcement that by Nov. 20, hosts must comply with their five-step cleaning process or risk having their accounts suspended or removed from the site.The company's cleaning program, which was developed alongside fellow health and hospitality experts, consists of hosts preparing themselves and their team to clean effectively, sweeping and dusting before sanitizing, spraying high-touch surfaces (door handles, light switches) with approved disinfectant spray, referring to its room-by-room checklist to make sure everything is cleaned correctly, and resetting the room.Once a host commits to the five-step cleaning process, Airbnb says their listings will have a highlight spotlighting their commitment to clean.To stop the spread of COVID-19, Airbnb only allows a maximum of 10 guests per stay, washing your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds, and wearing protective equipment at all times.Airbnb has a list of protocols for cleaning on specific rooms in your house for guests, which can be found here. 1305

A young boy who was abandoned at a Goodwill drop-off in Mississippi is now with Child Protective Services and police have at least one suspect in custody.Southaven police posted on social media Monday about the boy, who they believe is about 2 years old. They told WREG he had a change of clothes, some food and a note written on a paper towel that read, “child abandoned … no phone number for mom.”Southaven is just south of Memphis across the Mississippi border.The boy was unable to give his name or the names of any parents or relatives to officers, and they posted to social media asking the public for help identifying any relative or possible suspects.Later Monday afternoon, police said they received numerous tips in addition to surveillance video."Southaven Police received numerous tips, and with the assistance of F.B.I. offices in both Mississippi, and Tennessee, along with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department a suspect related to this case was taken into custody in Memphis at approximately 15:30 hours. At this time the investigation is still on going, no suspect information or charges are being released," they posted on Facebook. “Chief Moore would like to thank all of the citizens who showed concern for the child, rest assured he is well, and being taken care of and will be re-united with family when CPS determines this is proper,” police added later on Facebook. 1398
