New research from AAA shows too many senior citizen drivers are not having conversations about when they should stop driving.AAA says that by the year 2030, 1 in 5 drivers will be over the age of 65, which is why the company is urging people to have conversations with their older family members sooner rather than later.According to the study, 83 percent of older drivers report never having a conversation with family or a doctor about their safe driving ability.  The report states that those who do only do so after being involved in a crash or other driving incidents.AAA recommends having conversations with seniors before you start seeing red flags.Here are things to keep in mind when beginning a dialogue with your loved one:Start early and talk often. Make sure you stay positive, and make sure they know the focus is on their own safety.Avoid generalizations about older drivers’ abilities.Have a one-on-one conversation. Doing it with the entire family can make a driver feel alienated.Stick to facts. Focus on a medical condition or medication that might make driving unsafe, and don’t assume their driving should be stopped altogether.Plan together. Let the driver play an active role in planning for their “driving retirement.”In 2016, more than 200,000 senior drivers were injured in traffic crashes. NIWOT, Colorado — The last of Crocs Inc.'s manufacturing facilities, located in Italy, is going to close, the company announced.It also closed its plant in Mexico. Crocs leaders did not give information on how it will continue producing its products during its second-quarter earnings report this week.The company grew its second-quarter earnings and revenue by 4.7 percent year-over-year. But Crocs Inc. is operating fewer stores.The company has not said if it plans to shutter more stores in the U.S. It expects revenue to increase, in the single digits, by the year's end. The cost of closing the manufacturing facilities in 2018 is million, the Daily Camera reports.Crocs Inc.'s chief financial officer, Carrie Teffner, plans to resign from the company effective April 1, 2019. NEW YORK CITY — Two men have been indicted in the 2002 murder of Run-DMC DJ Jam Master Jay, officials announced on Monday.The hip-hop star, whose real name is Jason Mizell, was shot and killed in his recording studio in Queens on Oct. 30, 2002. He was 37.Federal prosecutors and members of the NYPD identified the suspects as Ronald Washington and Karl Jordan Jr. Watch the news conference below:Washington has long been a person of interest in the case. He is currently serving a federal prison sentence for robbery and is expected to be arraigned in connection with Jam Master Jay's death later this week.Jordan Jr. was expected to be arraigned on murder and other charges Monday afternoon.Jam Master Jay was one-third of the celebrated rap group, Run-DMC — one of the most popular trios in hip-hop history. His fellow group members, Joseph "Run" Simmons and Darryl "D.M.C." McDaniels, were not in the second-floor studio on Merrick Boulevard in Jamaica when the gunfire broke out.The hip-hop legend was known for his Adidas wardrobe, black hat, leather jacket, and large, gold chain. As a DJ, he had hands of gold.The NYPD said Jam Master Jay was part of a cocaine trafficking conspiracy that led to his murder, and said the DJ had threatened to cut one of his alleged killers out of a deal with a Maryland distributor.Jay was playing video games on a couch in the studio shortly before two men were buzzed in by his assistant, Lydia High. New coronavirus cases in the U.S. have surged to their highest level in two months and are now back to where they were at the peak of the outbreak.The U.S. on Tuesday reported 34,700 new cases of the virus, according to a tally compiled by Johns Hopkins University that was published Wednesday. There have been only two previous days that the U.S. has reported more cases: April 9 and April 24, when a record 36,400 cases were logged.New cases in the U.S. have been surging for more than a week after trending down for more than six weeks. While early hot spots like New York and New Jersey have seen cases steadily decrease, the virus has been hitting the south and west. Several states on Tuesday set single-day records, including Arizona, California, Mississippi, Nevada and Texas.Cases were also surging in other parts of the world. India reported a record daily increase of nearly 16,000 new cases.
