The US House of Representatives has ordered an investigation into whether the Department of Defense experimented with ticks and other insects as biological weapons.In an amendment passed last week, the House calls for the Defense Department's Inspector General to look at whether any such experiments were done between the years 1950 and 1975.The amendment was introduced by New Jersey Rep. The U.S. Attorney's Office has announced arrests have been made in a “prolific” drug trafficking ring in Western New York.Four people have been arrested in a crime ring which stretches from Buffalo to Los Angeles, according to U.S. Attorney James Kennedy, Jr. Three of those people are from Buffalo: David Burgin, Rodney Pierce and David Washington are all charged with multiple drug crimes. 403

There are 77 counties in Oklahoma and every one of them is under a state of emergency because of historic flooding.The Department of Emergency Management says it's because of "flooding, severe storms, tornadoes, and straight-line winds that began in April."At least 278

Toyota is recalling nearly 700,000 vehicles in the U.S. because the fuel pumps can fail and cause engines to stall. That can increase the risk of a crash.The recall covers certain 2018 and 2019 Lexus LS 500, LC 500, RC 350, RC 300, GS 350, IS 300, ES 350, LX 570, GX 460, and RX 350 models. Also included are certain 2018 and 2019 Toyota 4Runner, Camry, Highlander, Land Cruiser, Sequoia, Sienna, Tacoma, and Tundra models. Some 2019 models also are affected including the Avalon and Corolla.Toyota is still developing repairs. Owners will be notified by mail in mid-March. 585
