(KGTV) - Photographs of a man who deputies say flashed a pistol in his waistband at a Poway Walmart clerk were released Friday in the effort to find him.Poway Sheriff’s deputies said the man went to the store at 13425 Community Road on Saturday, November 10 at 8 p.m. and approached the customer service counter.The man displayed a silver and black semi automatic pistol and told the clerk to open the cash register, deputies said. The employee turned over the cash drawer and the man got away with cash.Deputies describe the man as African-American, between 30 and 40 years old, 5’10” to six feet tall, unshaven, and with a medium complexion. He was wearing a blue baseball cap with white lettering and a picture of a marlin fish on the front. (KGTV) — San Diego Sheriff's deputies Saturday were investigating a homicide at a North County apartment complex.Sheriff's deputies responded to the Sofi apartment complex on Midland Rd. at about 1:45 a.m., deputies said.Early Saturday morning, the San Diego Sheriff's Department received a call from Pomerado Hospital in Poway of a man who was brought in with a gunshot wound. Just after 3:00 a.m, Michael Walker died at the hospital.10News spoke to a neighbor, Christine Zobel. She was woken up at around 1:45 am after hearing commotion upstairs. "There was an altercation in the apartment on top of my children's room, and there was a gunshot that went through the wall and killed a man that was sleeping," Zobel said. Minutes after the shooting, Zobel saw Walker's wife drive him to the hospital. But he did not make it. "That could've gone through the floor and into my kids' room, or anybody around us could've been affected from this reckless event," Zobel said. Saturday afternoon, Sheriff's Homicide detectives arrested Manuula Save for murder. The investigation is ongoing. President Donald Trump indicated this weekend to associates he is preparing to oust Veterans Affairs Secretary David Shulkin, a source familiar with the conversations confirmed to CNN.CNN's Jeff Zeleny has reported two officials said Shulkin remains the most vulnerable cabinet member.The announcement could happen as early as this week, the source said. But the situation grew more tenuous in recent months with Shulkin telling reporters that Trump administration political appointees have been working to oust him over policy differences.The rift between Shulkin and those within the agency and at the White House became public in February after Shulkin was the subject of a damning inspector general report related to a trip that he took to Europe last summer.While his standing at the White House has diminished, he retains the support of key members of Congress and the nation's veterans service organizations.The Washington Post first reported about Trump telling associates he was planning on ousting Shulkin.When asked last week about Shulkin's status, a VA spokesperson said, "There are no personnel changes to announce at the Department of Veterans Affairs.
