VALLEY CENTER, Calif. (KGTV) -- The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department is searching for a North County man who disappeared November 14. According to authorities, 54-year-old Brian Lee Danelson was reported missing November 20 after disappearing from the Harvest Farms Market in Valley Center days earlier. Danelson left without his wallet and his cellphone was disconnected, according to his family.Deputies have searched the area surrounding his home in Valley Center and have checked with hospitals to see whether or not he was admitted. According to the Department, Danelson has a tattoo of a tiger on his inner left calf. He is described as six foot tall with gray hair and blue eyes. TWIN LAKES, Colo. -- Riley Tinkham has done something very special with his dad's prized Porsche.He inherited the 1982 model when his father, Richard, died of complications from cancer in 2016. The car had been sitting in a garage for several years, so Tinkham fixed it up.Earlier this summer he took the car and parked it in front of his house in Twin Lakes, Colorado. He adorned it with a couple of inspirational quotes, one on each side of the Porsche.He borrowed one of them from Mark Twain."Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. Discover."He said the second quote is from Billy Cox, a motivational speaker."Life will only change when you become more committed to your dreams than your comfort zone.""I think that's a really poignant quote today," Tinkham said, "with how many comforts we have in life, how much technology we have. Two childcare workers have turned themselves into Florida police custody after a video surfaced of them berating, taunting and throwing a backpack at an 8-year-old child with autism.On Sept. 1, Winter Haven PD found out about a Snapchat video showing 26-year-old Kaderrica Smith and then 19-year-old Alexis Henderson taunting, aggravating, yelling at and tripping a student at Our Children's Academy.The 8-year-old is seen and heard in the video crying and hiding underneath a table while Henderson and Smith continue to taunt him.At one point the child tries to run towards one of the workers when she grabs his arms and sweeps his legs out from under him causing him to fall.The video lasts about three minutes and at one point shows one of the workers throwing a backpack at the child, hitting him in the face."There has to be an accountability measure for folks," said Winter Haven Police Chief Charlie Bird. "Especially when they're supposed to be the professionals. They get hired as the professionals, they're being paid as the professionals."In initial interviews, the two said they felt they were acting appropriately and did nothing wrong. Henderson and Smith just received their certification for childcare last month. "Those aren't methods that you can even begin to defend as being used to defuse a situation with an autistic child," said Bird. They were each immediately fired by the faculty and DCF placed a hold on their certifications.The child was interviewed by a DCF Child Protection Team member on Sept. 15 and it was determined the acts were criminal.Police were initially unable to locate the two, thus giving reason to issue a warrant.  1713

Using a Bible doesn’t make it better.A Nevada, Missouri, woman is facing charges of delivery or possession of a controlled substance into a county jail after she used a Bible in an attempt to deliver marijuana to an inmate in the Vernon County Jail.The woman walked into the jail Monday night asking to give a Bible to an inmate.A detention officer at the jail inspected the Bible and located marijuana in the book’s binding.Deputies arrested Ashley Despain on the charges.She is now also in the Vernon County Jail on a ,000 bond. 631
