(KGTV) -- Several wildfires continue to rage across California amid dry and windy conditions. According to Cal Fire, the Kincade Fire in Northern California has so far burned 75,415 acres as of 3 p.m. Tuesday. The blaze also destroyed 124 buildings and left two people injured. So far, the Kincade Fire is 15 percent contained. In Southern California, the Getty Fire has scorched 656 acres and is also 15 percent contained as of 3 p.m. Tuesday. Try these San Diego County locations for the best viewing experience: Jess Martin Park (Julian): Head up to Julian to catch the meteor shower. Blair Valley Campground (Anza-Borrego): There's really no bad spot in Anza-Borrego for stargazing. Its distance from San Diego makes it prime for some great viewing. Palomar Observatory: Palomar Mountain is the site of an observatory, so there's no wonder why the area is great for catching the stars. Laguna Campground: Mount Laguna has long been an area for camping and an escape from the city for San Diegans. While the Mount Laguna Observatory has the power to look deep into the galaxy, you'll have to bring your own gear at the campground to view the dark skies. Torrey Pines State Reserve: Torrey Pines State Reserve can provide some surprising star gazing despite being as close to highways as it is. The glider port has been a spot for those who don't want to make the hours-long trek east. Blue Sky Ecological Reserve: Poway's Blue Sky park is a great spot close to the county and away from too many bright lights for star gazing. Fleet Science Center (Balboa Park): Yes, Balboa Park is close to the city lights, but with some telescopic power, you can still catch some great sights like planets and bright stars. Mt. Helix Park: Mount Helix is another good option for those not wanting to drive too far away. Otay Lakes County Park: Otay Lakes park is another close option where local star gazers have had success staring into the night sky. Soledad Mountain: Another option close to home. Set your gaze or telescope in the right direction and Soledad Mountain is a great spot to star gaze. San Elijo Park: Head up to North County and catch some star-gazing at San Elijo Park. (KGTV) - The sound of gunfire was met with fear and disbelief by students at Saugus High School in Santa Clarita Thursday. Two students died and three others were injured on campus, officials said. In the hours following the shooting on campus, the teenage survivors shared their emotional stories. “It was very scary; we ran, we heard the one shot and four after and we just started running,” said a female student. “All I heard was all these kids running and just screaming and calling their parents; it was very sad.” RELATED: Santa Clarita high school shooting: 2 killed, 3 hurt; Suspected shooter in 'grave' condition “It was like a balloon pop, super loud, and everyone started running and it was really scary,” said a boy who had been outside the school when the shooting happened. His concern was for his sister, who had arrived on campus early for choir rehearsal. She texted him that she was safe, but the shooting had happened close to her. "I'm just not gonna forget it," said a girl as her mother clutched her outside the school.Other students shared the experience of running away from campus. “So we were waiting outside of the locker room cause it wasn’t open yet, and all of a sudden we just we were with all of our friends and we heard the gunshots and we were, ‘Let’s go, let’s run.' We ran through the field, we went through the gate cause it was open and we had to go underneath the pipeline so we literally crawled underneath the pipeline. And there were construction workers and they like, helped us get through the hill and into the neighborhood, and we just kept walking until we got to the park.” Some of the children sought refuge in the first moments of the crisis with a man who lives near the school. “Coming out of my house to go get my coffee and I saw all kind of kids running up the street, screaming, crying, yelling. And it really saddened my heart, you know. And they were saying, ‘can we go in your house’ and there must have been 20 of them in my house. We just all kept running, and we were all helping each other, like ‘oh, do you have a ride, do you have a ride’ because it was just like a big group of us running through this neighborhood, trying to get away. Everybody helped each other; I was actually really surprised because I thought people would just panic and push people out of the way but everybody was helping each other. Everybody worked as a community to help each other like these kids,” said a female student.The survivors who sheltered in place at the school were evacuated on buses and reunited with their parents. 2816

A 3-year-old Mesa, Arizona boy was found crying next to his passed out father near a Mesa business.Mesa police report that on May 11, they responded to a business near Stapley Drive and Baseline Road for a man unconscious outside a business. An employee found 33-year-old David Rodriguez passed out with his 3-year-old son standing next to him, crying. Police woke up Rodriguez, but he reportedly kept dozing off as police were questioning him. He did not know where he was or how he got there. He also could not tell police how old his son was. Police located his car in the parking lot with the keys still in the ignition. They also allegedly found several open beer cans in the vehicle. Rodriguez has been charged with child abuse. 777

Visitors will be able to enjoy cider or wine, and delicious bratwurst, shortbread, and other treats along the way.Lighting displays will cover themes like Candyland, Winter Wonderland, Home for the Holidays, and more.The Holiday Market and Trail will open on Thursday, Dec. 3, and run through Sunday, Dec. 6, before opening again Dec. 9 through Dec. 23. The market and trail will be open from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Guests will be required to go through a brief health screening before entering and are required to wear face coverings.
