SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Police are searching for a reported bank robbery suspect in the Mission Valley area late Friday.A bank robbery was reported at the US Bank location at Frazee Road just before 5 p.m., according to San Diego Police. At one point, SWAT officers were called in to assist.SDPD initially reported that shots were fired inside the bank based on accounts from "scared employees" but later confirmed no shots had been fired. Police are currently searching for a suspect. No injuries have been immediately reported. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — One day after San Diego County allowed dining in restaurants to resume with modifications, Pacific Beach's El Prez was ordered to close for violating county public health orders.Now, the restaurant and bar says it's hoping to reopen sometime next week after passing an health department inspection.Last week, El Prez was the scene of customers ignoring physical distancing and facial covering rules. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Officials with the the Department of Homeland Security announced Friday plans to screen people returning from restricted countries.American citizens, legal permanent residents, and their immediate families returning to the United States will be required to arrive at one of 13 airports for enhanced screening for coronavirus.“While the overall risk of serious infection from the coronavirus to the general public remains low at this time, the Trump administration is taking these aggressive measures to keep the risk low, requiring all Americans returning from affected areas in Europe to be funneled through 13 airports for screening upon their return to the U.S.,” said Acting Secretary Wolf. “To minimize disruptions to travelers, TSA, CBP, and air carriers are working to identify qualifying passengers before their scheduled flights.
