When Christina and Tarek El Moussa announced in late 2016 they were ending their marriage after seven years, fans worried it would mean an end to their wildly popular HGTV series, "Flip or Flop."The series continued, even as the couple divorced, but news that Christina was branching out with a new show again stirred concerns that "Flip or Flop" would soon end.Well, worry no more: Christina announced Wednesday that the show is definitely still on."We're baaacckkk!!! #FlipOrFlop was just picked up by @hgtv for 15 new episodes!!" read the caption on a video she posted of her and her ex on Instagram. "Look for Season 8 to premiere in Spring 2019."The pair, who have a young son and daughter, released a statement at the time of their split."Like many couples, we have had challenges in our marriage," they said. "We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago and the police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. There was no violence and no charges were filed."They also said they were planning to focus on their children and continue to work together.HGTV execs said they were fully supportive of however the former couple planned to handle it."When it comes to matters related to their own family, we respect their privacy and honor any decision that works best for them and their children," the network said in a statement provided to CNN. "HGTV is currently airing episodes of 'Flip or Flop' and the series will continue production as scheduled."In the video posted Wednesday, Tarek El Moussa sounded just as stoked as his ex-wife that the eighth season was happening."I know we've been around for a really, really long time, but we are back," he said. "We're ready to flip some houses!" 1732

When it comes to eating healthy we tend to think about weight loss. But the impact on our blood pressure and cholesterol is just as important.Just ask a young woman who's survived not one, but two heart attacks. She talks about overcoming the odds, and how a heart-healthy diet is helping her fight back.In a small room, it's dinner time. But it's more than a love of food that's bringing these people together. It's a love and appreciation for life."So my name is Michelle," says one woman seated at the table. "I've had two heart attacks."Michelle Melvin and everyone at the table has had at least one close call with their hearts."What did you think when the doctor told you you'd had a heart attack?" The NOW's Kumasi Aaron asked Melvin. "It was disbelief," she responded.Melvin was 41, active and healthy overall when she felt a pain in her temples and her forearms went numb."But, did I ever think heart attack?" Melvin recalls. "No. I was 41 years old. That doesn't happen happen when you're 41." Her first thoughts? Her 8 and 10 year old sons.Melvin says, "It was just more of that sacredness of I can't, I can't die. With these babies at home still."She changed her diet and lifestyle but five years later, she had another heart attack."It wasn't supposed to happen again you know?" Melvin says. "You're not supposed to get it twice."Doctors diagnosed her with SCAD, a rare heart disease that mostly affects young women."The patients that it affects frequently are super healthy patients," says Kasier Permanente Cardiac Registered Nurse Amanda Bloom. "These are women who are out there doing marathons, they really take good care of themselves that's kind of what's so scary about it."Bloom started the support group. She wanted to make healthy eating a big part of it, because of its impact."It can really greatly reduce your risk of having another heart incident," Bloom says. "And for someone who hasn't had one it really reduces the risk of ever having one."Bloom prepares the dishes herself. Kale apple and pecan salad, and butternut squash and lentil soup. When it comes to eating heart healthy, Bloom says fruits, dark leafy greens and vegetables are key.For Melvin, the guidance she gets from Bloom about eating heart healthy is giving her important confidence."It kind of like jump starts," Melvin says. "It's like okay I can do this. I can go back and I can be strong again."Becoming stronger with each bite, for whatever life might bring. You can find more more healthy recipes from Kaiser Permanente here. With millions of Americans set to lose a weekly 0 unemployment supplement this week, leaders in Washington are discussing another stimulus package that could extend the supplement for the unemployed. The 0 a week program from the federal government was added to state unemployment benefits.Leaders on Capitol Hill also are pushing for a second round of stimulus checks. While it appears Democrats and Republicans are in agreement that there should be another stimulus bill, compromising to the details remains an issue. On Tuesday, President Donald Trump said that he is looking at continuing an unemployment supplement, but at of 70%. Trump said that he and other GOP lawmakers believed that the supplement gave Americans an incentive to remain unemployed.“We want to have people go back and want to go back to work as opposed to be sort of forced into a position where they're making more money than they expected to make and the employers are having a hard time getting them back to work,” Trump said. “It still worked out well because it gave people a lifeline, a real lifeline. Now we're doing it again.”Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer agreed that an unemployment supplement is needed as unemployment levels remain in double figures. Democrats in the House passed a bill in the spring that would have extended the added unemployment through the end of the year. The GOP-held Senate has not considered the legislation.“It makes no sense to cut back at a time when we have over 20 million unemployed and we have the greatest unemployment crisis since the Great Depression,” Schumer said in an interview with CNN. “To cut back on unemployment insurance makes no sense whatsoever. That's what they're proposed. In the other proposal, we'll pay people to go back to work. Well, those who go back to work are getting the salary.”Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell suggested that an agreement is still a ways off. He also hasn’t signed off on an unemployment supplement, and says that his focus is to get workers back to work rather than provide supplemental unemployment. McConnell, however, said that his proposal would include a second round of stimulus checks. Details of that plan are not available, but McConnell previously said a second round of stimulus would include fewer Americans. With coronavirus cases remaining at high levels and large gathering spaces forced to operate at reduced capacities, it is hard to imagine employment levels reaching pre-coronavirus levels. McConnell told reporters earlier in July that the next round of stimulus funds should cover Americans making less than ,000 per year, which is far lower than the threshold for stimulus funds during the last round of aid, which many Americans received in April and May.McConnell said on Tuesday that the Senate is also looking at replenishing the Paycheck Protection Program, which gave companies funds to help them make payroll during the coronavirus pandemic.“With the majority of businesses expected to exhaust their initial paycheck protection funding this summer, we'll also be proposing a targeted second round of the PPP with a special eye toward hard hit businesses,” McConnell said. “And speaking of building on what worked in the Cares Act, we want another round of direct payments, direct payments to help American families keep driving our national comeback." 3375

WEST PALM BEACH, Florida — An Ohio man who flew to Palm Beach County in order to smoke a joint with President Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago ended up under arrest instead, according to a sheriff's office report. The report says 27-year-old Tyler Jon Marrone of Columbus, Ohio, arrived at Palm Beach International Airport on April 18, the same day the president was hosting?Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in Palm Beach.Marrone said he found a credit card that he thought was a gift from God so: "I bought myself a plane ticket to Florida to go see the President," the report states.A detective investigating the case said Marrone intended to drive to Mar-a-Lago, walk in and talk to Mr. Trump about "the static and frequency feedback that I constantly hear emanating from my basement and from fans and in my head." He wanted to figure out what they are saying, the report noted.Marrone also admitted that he had been kicked out of the Supreme Court Building in Ohio as well as several courthouses, according to the report. It was decided that Marrone met criteria for the Baker Act, which allows for an individual to be involuntarily committed. An investigator said while checking Marrone's bag a white substance was discovered that later tested positive for methamphetamine. The sheriff's office charged Marrone with possession of a schedule II substance. 1400

With five weeks remaining in the college football season, the College Football Playoff selection committee unveiled the first poll, and there is little surprise at who is at the top. Alabama, the defending national champs, was ranked No. 1 in the poll released Tuesday, followed by the 2017 champs No. 2-ranked Clemson. With Alabama and Clemson both sporting unbeaten records, it is not surprising to see the two squads at the top of the ranking. But the selection committee's third choice might leave some fans scratching their head. Rather than picking unbeaten Notre Dame at No. 3, the selection committee slotted one-loss LSU as the third pick. Notre Dame, who has a win over Michigan who is ranked at No. 5 in the CFP ranking, was at No. 4. With the toughest part of Notre Dame's schedule in the past, and no remaining Top 25 games remaining on the schedule, the Irish's chances of making the College Football Playoff are in question given that a one-loss team is already ahead of Notre Dame. A group of other one-loss teams are poised to potentially overtake Notre Dame at the No. 4 spot since most of those squads will get the opportunity to play in a conference title game. With Notre Dame being an independent, the Irish do not get the benefit of playing in a conference championship. Behind Michigan is a quintet of teams sporting 7-1 records going into Week 9. Those teams are No. 6 Georgia, No. 7 Oklahoma, No. 8 Washington State, No. 9 Kentucky and No. 10 Ohio State. UCF, who is the only other unbeaten team besides Alabama, Clemson and Notre Dame, was ranked No. 12. The top four teams at the end of the season advance to play in the College Football Playoff.  1728
