Chinese President Xi Jinping will pay a state visit to Mongolia from Thursday, his first visit to the country since taking office in March 2013 and also the first by a Chinese president in 11 years.
"Let the tenth anniversary be a new starting point for China and Arab states to join hands, keep the momentum, and usher in a brighter future for China-Arab relations and the China-Arab Cooperation Forum," he said.
"Mongolia is a landlocked country with sparse population, vast territory and abundant resources, while China is the world's second largest economy and is in the process of industrialization and urbanization," said the ambassador.
Xi proposed the two countries step up interactions at governmental, parliamentary and political party levels to share experience of governance and maintain high mutual trust, as well as enhance communication and coordination on major issues of common concern to make the international system more fair and rational.
