BEIJING, Jan. 12 (Xinhua) -- U.S. Ambassador to China Jon Huntsman on Wednesday said Chinese President Hu Jintao's state visit to Washington later this month will be "exciting and historic.""State visit is the highest level of welcome that is accorded to a foreign head of state. BEIJING, Dec. 21 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang has called for strengthening efforts in ecological and environmental protection as the country strives for economic restructuring and improving people's livelihoods.Li made the remarks Monday at a meeting on the application of research results on China's environment.
