A Phoenix Suns fan is facing charges after cursing at team owner Robert Sarver during a game and later confronting an officer as he was removed from the arena.Police say Jeffrey Camill Whitley was seated near Sarver inside Talking Stick Resort Arena during the Phoenix Suns-New Orleans Pelicans game on April 5.After Sarver had sat down in his personal seats, the 18-year-old and his friends began yelling obscenities, and also reportedly called Sarver "the worst owner in the league."Court records show the arena security asked Whitley to stop, but he continued for several more minutes before having to be removed from the arena.While being escorted out of the building by Phoenix police, Whitely allegedly chest-bumped an officer, trying to push him backward.He has been charged with aggravated assault and criminal trespassing. 843
A Norton, Ohio, High School junior is fighting for her life after she collapsed and stopped breathing during the homecoming dance on October 19.According to the teen's family, 16-year-old Emma Pfouts is facing a life-threatening situation because of a severe asthma attack and an allergic reaction.Her mother, Christina Weigand, said Emma was placed in a medically-induced coma and suffered brain damage. A woman who gave birth alone in her jail cell in Denver is suing the city after jail deputies and nurses allegedly ignored her pleas for help during about five hours of labor.Silent surveillance video released by her lawyer shows Diana Sanchez eventually lying down on a narrow bed, crying out in pain, before she pulls off her pants and deliveries a baby boy in July 2018.The federal lawsuit filed Wednesday says a van was requested to take Sanchez to the hospital. But jail workers knew the ride likely wouldn't be available for hours until after the morning booking process was finished.The Denver County Sheriff's Department said Thursday that it has since changed its policy to ensure that pregnant inmates who are in any stage of labor are immediately taken to the hospital. A Racine man was arrested Wednesday while expecting a pizza delivery. Mount Pleasant Police Officers were called to Toppers Pizza regarding fraudulent money they had repeatedly received from a house.Officers confirmed that the money was fake and were notified that the same address had called again with a food order.Officers went with the delivery driver to the address and knocked on the door. When the suspect answered and asked if it was Toppers they officers responded "Yeah" and the door opened.Before officers could introduce themselves to explain why they were there, the suspect tried to slam the door and the officers pushed back.The suspect, identified as Raymond Prideaux, did not comply with orders to stop resisting so officers tased him. He has been charged with obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct.Prideaux has a lengthy criminal history including possession of THC, retail theft and OWI. 926
