Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., said this week he is in favor of passing another round of economic stimulus for Americans, but suggested the funds be targeted to a smaller number of Americans.McConnell told reporters on Monday that the next round of stimulus funds should cover Americans making less than ,000 per year, which is far lower than the threshold for stimulus funds during the last round of aid, which many Americans received in April and May.Congress is currently on recess, but is expected to begin discussions on another round of aid when it reconvenes July 20.In May, House Democrats approved a stimulus plan, which included ,200 checks for those making less than ,000 a year. (AP) -- A North Carolina man who won a million lottery prize in 2017 has been arrested on a murder charge in the killing of a woman whose body was found at a hotel.The Shallotte Police Department charged 52-year-old Michael Todd Hill of Leland, with murder after the body of 23-year-old Keonna Graham was found Monday in a hotel room in the Brunswick County town.WECT-TV reports that Hill won million from an Ultimate Millions scratch-off ticket in August 2017.A cousin of Graham described her as as a generous, loving and adventurous young woman who enjoyed hiking and bicycle rides. 616

SEYMOUR, Indiana — An 8-year-old boy died after ingesting meth he may have thought was cereal.The boy, Curtis Collman III, was at his dad's home when the drug overdose occurred. He died after being returned to his mother's home, according to WAVE television station.The father is Curtis Gilbert Collman, 41, and he has been charged with neglect that led to the death of a dependent, WAVE reports.  415
